fairy elephants replied to MagnumPI's topic in Trials Chat
Sorry about the poor quality, but you get the idea... -
I can't see it taking of in trials, but it could be good for xc (Y) I cant see it standing upto dents too well on the downtube... but i may be wrong, I no that it has amazing strength properties, but just how far do they stretch?

Does Any Body Use Ringle Hubs For Trials?
fairy elephants replied to Swindon rider's topic in Trials Chat
Next time we ride, we will have to compare our wheels for spinning resistance. Your right, i didnt ever use my hope on my leeson, but i did use my king on rich's leeson, and it did slow down alot quicker than with his hope (Y) -
Does Any Body Use Ringle Hubs For Trials?
fairy elephants replied to Swindon rider's topic in Trials Chat
It's my hub he s talking about. We have got almost the same bike, except i run a king, and he runs a hope... I'm almost certain it is my hub, because i could roll alot faster/ further with my old hope xc. Possible it is the bearings? i have never done anything to my hub since i got it from waynio. How would i check the bearings? or is there anything else i could try?? P.S, sorry for kinda stealing the thread (Y) -
Think he means: "pomp" = "pompy" = "Portsmouth" :)"

From what my mate told me after riding on andy's stealth, it feels realy solid, and the engagement is obviously instant. This guy thinks that his King is the dogs dangly's, but this time, has had to admit it has been beaten... Thats enough to proove to me that they feel nice :-"
-
I would guess that alot of pro's use them because they can get the cheap, if not free, so when they break, some new ones are handed to the rider :- I would say to get Onza shin dig's, they are very strong, have good bearings, and offer fantastic grip! :P

I got myself a zip-up animal hoody, then on my way back, i stopped in the camping shop, and purchased some waterproofing wax... Got home, and followed the instructions, putting it through the wash. 3 days later, when it had dried, all is fine and dandy.... cost about £50 total... and no-one can tell its waterproofed, untill i take it off and my t-shirt is still dry :D :S

Will have to get out and ride now! And i will try not to leave my phone in the car this time :S" You have waited long enough for this, so it better be worth it... Going by what miles said it is... "It makes kings feel crap" i think were his exact words :D

Jasmine You are an exotic beauty who enchants everyone you meet. You love going on wonderous adventures and have a special place in your mind for all wild animals.

When having a gazillion scabs on you shins is the norm (Y) Snap for the hompage thing :"> And i think most peoples fingers do that, but im pretty sure mine do it an ab-normal amount

You would have to do things differently, but things are still possible. I would rather live. your mind will still be there, yea, sure it wouldnt be nice have to rely on people to do things, but as your mind developes, to make up for what you physically can't do, your quality of life will also improove. All the people talking about life not being worth living if you cant ride, have you ever thought that maybe there are more important things to life than a lump of metal which you ride around on?! Yo start off with, you may well be dissapointed that you can't do alot of things which you would normally do. But you would learn to adjust, and be glad that you are alive, and can be with loved ones etc... Alex.

Mine is "dark green". Looks like British racing green to me :P Dont get green! thats my colour :P The midnight blue sounds nice. I wanted purple, but i couldnt get it... Clive has probably told you that you can get pretty much any colour you want?! But like quick-spider has said, you realy can't :P It will ride nice whatever you get B) :)

Sounds good to me :) I just hope i dont have to be able to get up the side of skips to do the "hard" sections B)
