  1. on a really good day i can get around 38" inches i think, which is around my bar height. but i dont have really good days very often :S some days i can do it, some i can't... ahwell, it'l come :P
  2. If by "nail" you mean "pawl" then it would seem you are correct... 3 off set pawls... may not be uber strong, but who knows?! Personally if anybody is wanting a new hub i would say get a hope bulb or wait for the hope trials hub. I run a CK classic, and i find very little difference between this and my mates bulb, and with a hope, if it breaks you can get spares nice and cheap :S
  3. I passed in january, and have not been pulled yet, although i do drive a little eratically, so when i do get pulled i expect more than just a warning... I no this, yet still drive the same, so its my own fault... I wont go crying to mummy when i get points etc... i'll just accept it.. :S
  4. hmm, well they have been on there nearly a year, although it wasn't used for alot of that time... but i guess that could councel out pad wear... the noise only starts when the brake gets hot, like, it was very loud/ annoying after drive through some lanes last night... but obviously any high speed driving heats it up as it is rubbing :S
  5. anyone else see a resembalense to onza muscle man cranks? well, untill you see the price... :S"

  10. mother of 7 is bad enough to be sleeping with... let alone when you are one of the 7! (N) :)
  11. could somebody please tell me, what is the usual amount of meat you should get down to before replacing the pads? I would say (rough estimate) that i have around 10mm on there, does this count as worn? (N)
  12. Nice vid, some good moves in there (N) I just tried to read your guestbook on the site, strangly little of it made sense :)"
  13. I have checked the pads and they have got plenty of meat on them still, so its not that they need replacing. Like you said it's as if i have a lazy cylinder, which isnt returning. I will try the copper grease at the weekend when i get another chance to look at it in day light (N)
  14. Sorry, but i was downloading off trials shack at 122kb/sec earlier, and this is going at 15kb/sec... they really need to sort it out if they are wanting to host vids this size! (N)
  15. Hi, I have got a completly standard 1991 renault 5 campus 1.1L. I have recently noticed that my front drivers side brake is rubbing slightly and making an incredibly annoying high pitched sqweaking sound... I have had the wheel off and had a look, and i cannot see any way of adjusting it, although i could lever the pads off the disk so i no that there is movment there to be used up. I have also looked in my haynes manual and cannot find anything about adjusting the front brakes. So, basically, does anybody have any brilliant idea's to stop my brake irritating me, and wearing my pads down alot quicker than it should?? Cheers, Alex.
  16. Count me in if i'm wanted :) Where is it? would my poor lil car make it?? :)" Sam, talk on msn about it (N)
  17. Portsmouth is windy at the best of times, so why let the spinny thing put us off?! :) I'll be there (N)
  18. for £55 i would go for an Avid SD7 with an XTR lever. Oh, hang on, i did, and it works great, espcially if you keep your rim and pads clean, If it gets mucky like mine is at the moment, it is just "ok" (Y) I still manage to gap to front wheel when mine is in the "ok" stage, although i can't gap and then hold it on the front wheel like i could when i had it all nice and clean :S
  19. I just buy skate shoes with a nice looking sole, and only use them for riding... I have another pair of skate shoes for general wearin :(
  20. Why/ How is it, that everytime you open a jar of marmite, it is empty, yet you can always just about scrape out enough for your slice of bread/ toast/ whatever you have it on... Is there a scientific reason for 1 jar of marmite lasting a life time? :S
  21. 18 in about 2 months... finally I'll be able to use my ID as ID... woo ness! :S
  22. I'm not sure :S Would you be able to get the seat closer to the top tube? that might make it look nicer... maybe it's just because i'm not used to seeing a leeson with a "proper" seat tube, but i think i'll keep my old-style one thanks :) But anyway, it's the ride that counts, and its a leeson, so i no the ride is good :S :P
  23. Just so long as you give everyone a couple of weeks notice so that we can book time off work and such like, i'm pretty sure you will have a rather large turn out (Y) I will deffinatly be attending. Will it be like the ride you set up last year? as you said that you want to keep it out the way to avoid being moved on... Cheers, Alex.
  24. I would highly recommend Race Face Diabolus bars :P
