well ive been using the reds and cnc backings for month n a bit now. and like above they are perfect.... very stiff ver very loud.. was riding in the wet tother day. and im sure rich pearson can voucj that there was hardly any difference in braking power when it got wet..there emeense.. even when his disk was startin to lack its normal hold mine just kept on trucking.. now they were getting a bit thin so i litrally a min ago put some coust m,aterial in. so il update few das comparing. but i will sure be usin another set of reds. now the cnc backings i put some coust pads on some powerpad backings for a friend and some on my cnc backings. comparing brakes you can feel that there is mucho more stiffness in the cnc thatn the powerpros there just no flex, awesom!! cheers

ok well i have 2 bits of goodridge hosin which is bout 5 inches short for my rear brake sio im going to make a croos over. will it be ok? not going to effect the brake at all? im just fed up snappin my croos overs. also anyone know where i can get the fittings? or does anyone have any i could buy? thanks tom

okm as some know my rear rim is bright green :P . i want to strip it silver so it matches my bike. now i dont really want to debuold the wheel. so was thionking of painting something on it (caustic soda?) and then just powerwashing it off? i know the rim isnt anodized but will caustic soda work? as i feel nitromors may take some time... any more help... thanks tom

looks like control frame then! im preety sure that the control forks are same as pures just shorter in length. should be all nice. just going to save up a lot to get the whole cabuddle.. also maxxis minion st 2.5 or the new hansventure thingy? also truvative long 128mm bbs where from? which better fsa or truvative? cheers

ok curently riding a old pure 1060 with ddg cro mo forks. iam looking to get new forks and frame. now was originally looking at the cotrol 05 short with control forks. but now have been offered (damn you prwn) a t rex. been reading a few post from a while back and the opinions on the rex seem good but was now wondering if theyve changed now all new frames have come out. so what they really like. inm pretty short but find my pure quite cramped. so which frame to get any suggestions? also forks which to get? what would pures ride like on a rex?> cheers tom

ok well i have a d521 rim and gettin a viz hub tomoro. i want to build the d521 onto the viz so anyone have any idea of the flange diamaters on the xiz hub and the erd of a 521 or even better what size spoke i will need to build strate up? also the guy im buying it off also has some spokes that will build the viz hub onto a viz 30mm rim..will this work with my 521? all help very much appreciated cheers..tom
