i was looking at the saracens but they do not sell as just a frame ( or frame kit) so that put me oof. if i was going to get a saracen means i would have to pay 250 for the bottom spec maybe be able to sell some of the stuff and thats for the bottom spec one. i mean does the geomatry change as the price increases or is it just colour and bike spec? the reason for considering the crescen tis that i have bean offered one for about £120 so i mean its not a lot. so what do people think. anybody tried the saracen? know anything about it? thanks tom

ok well i know ive made about a thousand topics about frames. but its now beetween these two frames. only problem is i dont know too much about them so i was wondering of some people could help me out? just want to know what each frame is good for and how they ride etc. would also like to know what frame is good for wat( gaps etc). call it like a mini reveiw if you like. any help would be brilliant. thanks tom

ok well i was wondering if some people could help me out? i just want a few simple frame mesurments of a few diffrent frames? if some people if they know them just write them down.the frames i am looking for are base ta26, planet-x ali bongo/tibo, the new 05 saracen mad and crescent illions. looking for the measurments: wheelbase(and state what forks runinig): chain stay length(from rear axle to centre of bb): bb height(from floor to centre of bb): centre of headtbu to centre of bb: centre of bb to seat, chainstay, top tube join: weight(if known): thanks tom

ok well sorry to do another pad post but i really am stuck. i need some new pads and im runing a 521 rim. i just wondering which pads work best. its beetween these 3 monty hydras, koxx bloxx and the new zoo pads. which should i go for? if you have actually used them even beeter. i will prob be using a gring uness. a set work amazing on clean. so which ones. please dont close this topic. thanks

if you dont wana read it dont read it. whats the point in coming on anbd writing that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^? im just telling you my first impresions. also i only had ben riding on them for about 2 hours to day. but only about 30mins of thart was in the wet.

ok well i ordered the pads a couple of days ago and recveid them today. first noticed about the backins that they are now like magura ones and look very swish. i wacked them on my bike and set them up perfect. im using a 521 which has a worn grind i went outside and it was raining so i was a bit woried bout ttesting them as i thought the rain would effect them, i didnt had a little play and the pads were as good as my old plaz even in the wet. this was before i had even beded them in so i thought as it was raining quite hard i would ride around with brake locked to try and bed them in a bit more. the squek of the brake was geting louder but its not actually that loud. i thought i would put my bike back inside to give pads and rim a bit of time to dry off. went back out later when it was dryer and went on some pallets came short on some pallets and the hold was emmense. there actually isnt much diffrence in theses pads in the rain or the dry they both work really well in both conditions. then i thought as i was using a very worn grind i would stick another harsh one on there so out came the grinder and put a metal cutin disk on there. grinded but wheel back on and suprisunly there isnt that much diffrence noe in the performance in the pad. it works better on the fresh grind oviously but theres not much in it. so these could be good pads on a clean rim aswell. anyway the main reasoon for a harsh grind is to teast the ware rate. but havnt put many hours into them yet so il update in a week or so when ive put more riding into them. but overall these pads really were wortth the money. also they are really stiff well stifer than my plaz pads not soo much sponge im usinfg a rb. the backings dont have hardly any movment but have enough to well yeah like wally said stoping the piston from snaping. just like to thank wally again for the quick service and everything. reveiw is quirte long (sorry) :(" but hopefully its a help to anyone who wants to purchase some but i could highly recomend them. tom

just to add to this i have a truvitive bb that i tried to get out out but again it was stuck and then i compleatly rounded the little nothches that u get it off with. is it possible to gett it out? mole grips?

ok thanks. how many sets of paws and springs in there? also how many sets of bearings? are they easy to asseble again? are the paws and springs easy to put back in? thetre not all guna pop out and il never be able to gey em back in?
