  1. but you ride stock, an ashton i assume, so ull have a bashguard which means your jeans will love your freewheel as it cant get near it to attack them

Used Viz Yellow's, Were amazing in the dry, with light grind, had good lock, amazing sound as soon as it rained its like i had no brake pads Monty Pads, Had them for a while were ok with light grind, but had to use tar if i wanted a decent lock at the moment im using Koxx Brown's, and i cant get enough of them, no noise (which i like) great lock and perfect hold, im running them with a light grind am gonna try rock pads and maybe some heatsink and coust pads soon, a friend use's Onza Citrus Pads, and he rates them highly

  7. tom, you saw how good my avid BB7 was workin today there shit hot, best brake i ever used, altho mine is 203mm a 160mm will work just as good with a decent set-up, you get a good lever, and pay an extra bit off £££ for a decent cable and it will last a life time, well a decent amount of time, i had a louise and i gave it away to use my avid as i love the avid so much more, and havin full adjustment at your fingertips make life so easy Hope Ive Helped Cheers

  14. no man i have an rb carbon lever on the rear and a magura louise brake lever on a magura louise lol, there koxx browns' best pads ever, alto i like viz yellows now

  16. when i got mine polished i laquer'd the finished product with 3 layers just to stop finger prints and protect them a bit better looks just as good see my topic My Zoot Topic
  17. just gotta wait till tarty have my rim in stock and can build wheels then it sould be ready i know the chain is the wrong way round, but i hate having to undo the split link my girlfriend spent about a day wet sanding the forks with finer and finer sandpaper and then used AUTOGLYM Metal Polish and a pad bought from halfords, but never used the pad as my girlfriend just used her arms and they came out amazing, same can be said about the stem
  18. i nitromorsed the frame, as i was gonna polish it, but then i just sanded down the frame sprayed a red primer as to make the black slightly darker then sprayed the black and left it to harden i didnt laquer it as to keep the matt affect ill get a full size pic asap as for now this is the best ive got was also thinkin of drillin the sidewalls on the front and spraying the whole rim black?? what you reckon??

  20. hey, well when i started trials i started on my monty and i eventually out grew that and swapped with a friend of mine for his zoot, this is what it first looked like when i got it: well that was fine for a while but i got bored of blue and yellow and well it just got scratched and looked horrible and me being me i just got tired of looking at it so eventually i blew up my DDG rear hub i decided it was time for a change, so i first stripped down my frame and forks because the plan was to polish everything but then i saw a picture of a Zoo Python in matt black and well things had to change, i sprayed my frame matt black and my girlfriend polished my forks and stem and magura cyclinders since then the spec of the bike has change considerably so heres a new spec with some recent pics; Frame: Onza Zoot, Sprayed Matt Black Forks: Onza 24" Stripped And Polished Headset: FSA Pig Stem: Monty, Polished HandleBars: Onza Carbon Flat Bars Front Brake: Magura Louise, A2Z +40mm Adapter, Hope 200mm Disk Rear Brake: RB Carbon Lever, Braided Hose(In Post), Polished Cyclinders, Koxx Browns, VIZ Brake Mount's Cranks: Tensile 175mm, UCI Bashring, Tensile Freewheel (yes im running FFW on a 24") Chain: KHE Collapse Front Wheel: Standard DDG Disk Hub, 24" Reggie Rim, White Rim Tape Rear Wheel: Dmr Revolver Disk Hub, 24" Ronnie Rim, White Rim Tape, Surly 14t Rear Sprocket Pedals: Azonic Flat Pedals Chain Tensioner: Surly Onza Stem Stackers, And 2 Tartybike Chain Stay Protectors Anyways Here's The Pic's
  21. Right for the first time in a long while ive got a saturday off and was wondering if any one was up for riding lincoln or leicester some where around the 2 if your intrested in either place put your name down with the place and then we can decide which would be better to ride cheers
  22. if the date you showed is the date you joined you wont have been validated you only get validated when admin feel you are a credit to the forum and have usefull information or guides to helping others if we all got validated when we first joined there would be a forum full of crazed nutters
  23. it only happened to me once when i was to cheap to buy 4-bolt mounts i bodge them upside down to create 4 bolt mounts and only lasted a ride and the brake was crap at that turns out id snapped one in half
