  1. Same thing happened to me I was at the skatepark down the road from me with a few mates, after about half an hour of riding we start hearing something hitting the trees close by but thought nothing of it at the time. some time later we hear something hit one of the metal ramps and we realise there is some chav hiding in the bushes across the road with an air rifle. The little b*****d shot me in the leg and ran off, the pellet left a big bruise but if i wasn't wearing jeans it would of pierced my skin. I reported it to the police but as expected nothing was done. It's little wankers like this that causes there to be so many rules and regulations to be put on air rifles and the like, which realistically only affects people that are going to use them responsibly anyway.

  3. It's the longer version, I'm 5ft 6/7 but it's perfect for me
  4. I was thinking of getting a HiFi stem to raise the bars, not sure how much of a difference it would make to the ride though.
  5. Cheers dude, The tyres aren't that bad, they grip well but when slightly wet they do tend to slip quite a bit. I've had them a while and only just noticed them starting to wear down. Overall fairly good
  6. Because it looks neater and tidier than having bogey green stickers on there, and you know it joe
  7. Just a few pictures of my Czar Ivan. This bike is fookin amazing on the back wheel, One of the best feeling bikes i have ever ridden. All comments welcome!

  12. Looks good dude! Stick my black maggie on the back we will have to get out riding again soon...... once i get my bike fixed up, hopefully the weather will stay the same!
  13. There are some tyres that are designed to be more resistant to pinch flats, Such as these, which might help.
  14. He might not sell echo products anymore. I'm not sure what the deal is yet, haven't heard back from him. If he doesn't sell echo products anymore then that's my riding over for the weekend
  15. I buy products from x-street because i know the guy that owns it. Also if there is any problems he lives about 15 minutes away so he usually gets it sorted quite quickly. Hopefully be riding by the end of the day
  16. Just had a look at the cranks and the thread is actually a different size to that on the freewheel, that must be what happend Just talked to one of my mates and hes getting in touch with X-street, looks like it's new cranks for me then.
  17. Yeah I'm actually using the old style echo cranks (the silver ones). I'm pretty sure there wasn't a different material that was on the cranks. I'm hoping there wasn't because the old freewheel which would have the different thread on is in the bin
  18. Spent the whole weekend at NASS behind the X-Street stall and that was it, I was hooked! Always wanted to do trials but i thought it would be too tricky, However after NASS I bought an echo es4r and realised it wasn't that hard. I'm pretty sure riding with people that could teach me helped myself progress alot and pushed me further.
  19. After waiting over a week for my eno freewheel to arrive through my LBS, it finally turned up today. Only to great disappointment when i got it home and tried to fit it, The b*****d thing is too big! The thread is the wrong size and just slips past the thread on the crank. I specifically said i wanted a front freewheel, on the box it even says 18tooth trials. I didn't think there was two different sizes Is there two different sizes for front freewheels or has the bike shop messed up and sent me a freewheel that is designed to screw on a hub?
  20. Until you get validated.Read this: http://83.170.72.216/~trials/forum/index.p...ounce&f=13&id=3
  21. I live not too far away in Weymouth and sometimes venture to poole when i can If you want to meet up when im there or arrange a ride add me on msn: matthewer@hotmail.com
  22. I found that after an amount of time the pads became covered in crud ( not really sure what it was ) and the performance of the pads deteriorated. To try and revive them i lightly sanded the material, slapped them back on the bike and they were working well again without slipping. might be worth a try!
  23. I'm currently running the Heatsink blue pads and they are amazing! I would definetly recommend them
