  3. will be there withought a doubt! didnt Nass do voulantry work a year or so ago? still doing it?
  4. yeh i thought thats what caused the brake to squeal, but didnt want to say and be wrong haha.
  5. really shaun? odd, I couldnt see the stories being true, but to be honest the two swinging off of that bag look bigger than 6" haha i was only relaying what i have read on the net which i assumed to be true! i read that they were a spider which injected a anesthetic venom and al the rest what you pointed out! ill try and find where i read it just to prove i am not making this up! read up on this and Its quite intrested to see some of the facts! They also say they they jump onto camels stomacks and get into thier inards here they lay thier legs and eat thier way out.... not how true that is... probaly not whatso ever! tons of stuff on the net about it if you really care, pretty intresting though. thanks for bringing it up shaun, i wont have my skin crawl in my sleep no more haha
  6. What the brake booster does is reduce the flex which your brake puts through your frame, i thought the amount of flex that is put through your frame via a hs33 would not be noticeable to the eye and only be very minor, but it isnt! Take the booster off, set the brake up as you usualy would and unless you have a frame with a built in booster like a Gu or some thing then you will be able to see the brake push the frame outwards. Then apply the booster and do the same and the frame will not flex as hard as it does withought the booster, also you will feel a firmer feel with the lever. i rode for about 2 years and never toutched a booster, untill i bought a bike with one on, i would never buy one unless it would have been uber cheap or free. once the booster was fitted i noticed such a differance and now i wont ride withought one, I use a 2 bolt echo team booster and i love it! Riding without a booster on some frames will result in them cracking for example this was comon with pythongs. Like i say, have a look with the booster on and again with it off, you *should* be able to visualy see the differance. the way it stops your brake making a noise is posibly a good thing! And as many prople will point out, they stop you kicking your bridge off and you dont have to spend ages re fitting a new one!
  7. cwor 3-4k a bike, Id spend 3-4k a frame! ohh the possibilites but thats for another thread
  8. i once read a article on some one who used to keep fire ants of some discrition, used to keep thim in a bit fiberglass thing. bet he used to find them everywhere! They come under inverts and there are some odd people who keep some odd things, like praying mantis, cockroaches and weird bug ant like things!
  9. Thanks for that ! i thought that the spokes should be the right size but didnt want to assume and assume wrong! so thanks for that! I hav been practicing using a guide from the iki section, not to sure who wrote it but the photos are of a blue mod rim being built up... so whoevers that is is the one i have used and it all seems to have worked out so far! thanks for that mat, ill go sit in bed and get a working!

    Freewheels?

yeh the tensile will fit! have been sitting here for ages with a ACS in one hand and a tensile in the other trying to see why! But they will, or should anyway! id say get a tensile, i have nothing but endless problems with my two enos, hate them! had my tensile abut a month and not had a single problem with it!
  11. Hey, I got a new front wheel today, checked the wheel over and all seemed fine, spokes seemed tight enough although they had a bit of flex in them and the wheel itself seemed pretty true so pretty chuffed with it. anyway, i whipped the bike and brake on and went for a ride everything seemed fine, a solid feel and a straightish spin. But after clooser inspection the front wheel looks as though it has been built by a blind monkey with no fingers and the build quality to be frank is shite! i dont really know how to inspect a wheel upon purchase but i am pretty sure you dont check that the pattern is all ok ect but i have come across the following problems... The wheel is a 3x build and instead of going over the first spoke, over the second and under the third, in some cases it goes over all three. this happens about 3 or 4 times. also where the valve hole is, the spokes are also crossing making it imposible to fit a tyre pump. which in my eyes is a major cock up on the wheel builders part? i dont think it could be any worse? My question is, would it be possible for me to take the wheel apart and rebuild it withought any problems or will the corners that have been cut effect me doing a rebuild? thanks for any help!
  12. i see grice on that ped thing the other day How much you after for that dodah alan?
  13. wow its nice to see that not every one is into thie TGS stuff! Thats why i stopped because noone was really into flow and stuff no more but glad to see it back, not knocking the TGS style because i have complete respect for the riders and could watch them all day long! Just sucks when your crap at it haha! When can we be expecting a video bud?
  14. id say the adamant, i absoloutley love these frames, feel so nice on the back wheel and gap like a dream! i cannot fault them, they are the only stock i have got on and not wanted to get off of asap!
  15. i thought that the early model XTP's didnt have the odd heattube joil, although i cant remember the XTP having the tail like thing which the levelboss did have.... Any way its a tidy looking bike which looks well kept, so i would say between £300 - £400
  16. Toons of riders in medway! Can think of around 10-15 off the top of my head!
  17. im another from medway! I think Scopse is from tonbridge, and is it steve in faversham? there are tons of riders in kent which are like 25ish which dont ride very often but are still fapping mad!
  18. watch and enjoy bongo! http://youtube.com/watch?v=zn9OZljUajc
  19. he jumped into the grand canyon aswell, his parachute failed and he landed in a load of cactus, got up and walked away! Crazy eh!
  20. I thinkthey do, I personaly havent used tarty for a few yearsw but when they first opened, I spoke to adam on the phone and ordered tons of parts and had a chat about riders in the local area ect and was in general a very nice, helpful and friendly bloke to deal with and i could not fault them in any way shape nor for and thats why i go back time and time again! I havent spent as much as some on here, id say around 5-600 over yonks!
  21. There is a bloke like that who used to be on the train on the way home from work, he had a very nice victorian house in a pretty nice area of the town, nice cars kids ect. a few of us spoke to him and asked him why he didnt live at home, he said because he has worked hard all of his life and he can now go out and drink untill he cant remember his name, fall asleap in a doorway but also has a house to go home to. Odd in a way but opens your eyes a bit chatting to one!
  22. i think we should make a list of where where are and our names so we can get a vauge idea... ill start please add yourself so we can fine the nearest coast to ride! 1. The Poggster - mid kent 2. Alanareo - Mid Kent 3. 4. 5.
  23. fair enough man! Have a look on www.reptileforums.co.uk and look in the anphibius section, there will be plenty of info on them and if you like i could ask for you to get some answers from exsperianced keepers as to how much room they require if you like? they are pretty funky animals and there are tons of local places where you can get them aswell! you can pick up a tank of that size for around £20 if you look about! Get one mate, they arent a every day pet! But i agree with you, if you cant give the animal what they need dont get one, many people buy pets on a impulse buy, for example perple buy reticulated pythons not realising that they will one day end up 20+ft long or buy them as a fashion accesory yeh he does! Building it up for him tonight or tommorow i think! gotta love the lad! he is one of the few local lads which i dont want to run over...... and then reverse over again!
  24. Sam... this sort of question is brought up time and time again and i suppose there is not a correct answer! But yes your right they do need a lot more than what could have been provided for them, i read the first post a bit to fast and have only just read back through it! Although i do think that it would be possible to keep them in some thing smaller, i dont know how big 110litres is but i could see ti to be possible to keep mpore than one in say a 3ftx1ftx1ft tank, and have seen more than 1 in a tank of that size! although personaly i find it unfair to keep pets in tanks which are to small for them some breeds such as my Condas become stressed and agressive if they are kept in a enclosure which is to big for them and i suppose the same could happen with other animals! Im not trying to cause a rawl or anything as i have said up thurrr some whurrr that yo are right! BUT i think it would be possible to keep more than 1 in a enclosure that size. out of intrest where do you learn this? have you just got it from reaserch or from exsperiance (purley out of intrest!) And do you still have that viz headset? i need one for my new python real bad, possibly we could meet up and ride some time?
