  1. i think dmr zipgrips are exseeding good as once they are on you are not getting them off espeisly if you put the zip ties around them, also they come in a range of colours and are very comfy and you get tremenous grip with gloves or bare hands.
  2. wheel building is an art in its self an should not be attempted by unconfident people, i am not going to tell you a method of building just that you should find your own and practice, trial and error seems to be the best way as the tips and manuals can be very hard to understand and the person who wrote it has probably has been building for years and has found this way suits them. i have tried to take tips off of people but have had no luck.i got a wheel and copied what i saw, bearing in mind if your building a disc wheel have a disc wheel to copy from as they have different lacing patters. finding your own technic may take several hours of wheel building but just go with what feels comftable once you have mastered lacing the wheel perfect dishing and truing, i spent over a couple of weeks perfecting my technics and now build every wheel i use and do builds for friends.
  3. if using the right sized spokes this should be very simple providing you are using the right spokes, go round in the pattern and method you use making sure that the rim is the right way round (disc rims), once you have the drive side if rear or disc side spoked go round and turn all the nipples until they sit just covering the end of the thread on the spoke, then use the same method the other side. at the end you should have a decent build that is dished but not tight, then insert wheel onto your bike and true it up until straight, this is one of my methods of wheel building with out any dishing tool or gig, also i think this is a good method as you get your wheel centered to your frame or fork perfect, thats if your a perfectionist like me,
  4. got a onza t-rex 04 frame its in good condition, minor scratches, how much do you think its worth guys (and gals), he wants £100, no wheels some tough guy forks, a ddg high rise stem and hs33 on the rear.

  7. Edited by Mod- Here is the original Post Mod- The thread was closed due to Pete Wright's abusive posts, and the thread was just spiralling into a slagging match. If everyone sticks to the topic then just carry it on in here

  9. I have a Giant Team Trials frame the signature one, i currently running Jr-T's 130mm, I got told it might damage my head tube but i have been running it like this for about 4 months I've been doing 20ft dirt jumps 10ft drops and trials on it. Has anyone had any previous experience with this frame good or bad.
