  1. As for the rear spacing problem. I run the same set-up, I just used a 2/3 mm washer on either side of the axle to fill the gap, then use the snail cams on the outer side of the frame, hope this helps. Monty snail cams are best imo, but tarty are out of stock.

  11. yes flushing is ok with a syringe, but it is soo much easier in the bath, as it takes all of the oil out with out any problems.
  12. The problem you may have is that the water is turning white when it comes out the tail end of the bleed, this is because there is still hydraulic oil inside the brake. 1.)Fill your bath up, 2.)take the brake apart, blow throw the hoosing, youll see all the crap come out, 3.) Then on the cylinders, get some plyers and pull then push the pistion to clear all the oil out. 4.) Pull the lever under the water to fill it up, 5.) Put it back together. sorry if this doesnt make sense but it work brilliant for me. cheers nafan
  13. hey, Tried bleeding my magura to day for the first time. I pulled the oil into the syringe as far as i could, and I got all the air bubbles out. Conected the bleeding adaptor to the cylinder and partly un-done the intrenal bolt in the lever, started bleeding but the syringe was not pushing much pressure of oil into the brake, then i sore that when I pushed the lever down on the syringe, the oil would creep past the seal. The syringe is brand new so it should do that i dont think, i was using dot 4, anyone now if there is anything I have done wrong? cheers nafan

    Tar

Go to B&Q an ask for roofing tar. should be in the outdoor area's, then breake some off....
  16. Post a picture, may help. Also You could have the (red adjuster) TPA on the lever, tightened too much. Just loosen the TPA off as much as you can, Reset the cylinders so that the pads have a "1 or 2 mm" space between both pads and the rim. Then adjust the TPA so that the pads dont have any space between the cylinder and the backing of he pad. cheers Nafan
