  1. Ill agree with you there. I think its because the frame colour is so bold. If there were many more bold colours going on it would look pretty awful. Id like to see someone try though!
  2. Pretty close to guiseley. I dont mind showing you round sometime if you want. Just give me a pm.
  3. grit in my anus???? Havent heard of anyone having any problems with the headtube cutouts.. Quite a few frames seem to have them now. Rode there yesterday. Some good stuff to ride. Old fire station is fun. Guiseley is great. Lot of things to ride. Great fun for a small group ride. Sunday will be my first tyke trial!
  4. Me and a few friends will be up there tomorrow if anyone wants to join provided its not pissing it down. If the weather fails us well be off to the works skatepark for a wizz round instead.
  5. Looks like a fun park. Nice pics too!
  6. 2 spacers on each side of the axle then 6 spacers on each caliper bolt. 2 pedal washers on each pedal to stop the little bit of pedal rubbing on the frame and a 2.5mm ish BB spacer to stop the drive side crank rubbing. I tried a 5mm one but then the none drive side rubbed Urm no this is rob's frame that he sent back to tarty bikes after discovering it was missing the M. I got a few pennys off.
  7. Got this lot on tuesday. Swaping the parts over from my monty was a bit of a hassle but i managed to sort it out for the weekend and it rides great, Really happy with it! Maybe needs to be a bit higher up the front end but ill probably get used to it. The spec is pretty much Monty + Manus besides the rockman rotor on the rear, trialtech grips/pedals, ENO freewheel, tryall snail cams, echo lite bash plate and a cheap headset. Thanks to tarty bikes for the great service!
  8. Ive been going to city bloc climbing wall at the works skate park in leeds since the end of last year. Really enjoying it. Hopefully get outside for some proper rocks in the summer. Climbing comp on friday Great pics partz!
  9. I hated it at first but everytime someone puts a pic up i like it more and more. Only thing that lets it down is the white spokes i think. Pretty nice though!
  10. sat 20th? warm up for the tyke trial on sunday still have to apply for memebership.......
  11. ah itl bug me all day long though. Id rather just get it sorted. I jamed a 5mm bb spacer in but now the none driveside is catching so im going back to the shop tomorrow to get 2.5mm. failing this im selling my electronic drum kit tomorrow so ill just buy some new cranks that go outwards more. any suggestions?
  12. Im not, still need to get hold of the right sized BB spacer for my manus Still up for bradford sunday though (bike dependant) for those of you who are going? Carl
  13. So, i got hold of some pedal washers so the pedal doesnt stick out of the crank anymore but now the crank is rubbing. What else can i do? Its nothing major but with a new bike I want it all running properly.
  14. Sorted. I had some plastic spacers in but they weren't up to the job. Put some metal ones in and the brakes not spongey anymore. Sorry for the shoddy pic. bit too close....... Still not sorted the pedal though. Couldn't find a spacer the right size. Heading to chevin cycles tomorrow to see if they have some. Thanks for the help! Dieing to ride it
  15. Pretty cool. I'd love to be able to play piano. Can you play "peep show" by sikth or "music for a nurse" by oceansize?
  16. Ill come along =) edit: its the first tyke trial at shipley glen that day so prob not now
  17. Yes that works thanks. I managed to bodge kind of the same thing, just needs a bit of tweaking. The brakes a bit spongy. Got a problem with crank clearance too. The bit of pedal that sticks out of the crank catches when i pedal hard or pedal kick. Would it be easier to space the pedal out or the crank or the BB??? Pics up tomorrow probably. Thanks for the super fast delivery Adam. came at 8:30am. Shame it took me all day to bodge it together
  18. Drops to posts were sweet!
  19. I'm having trouble fitting my rear wheel in my new manus frame. Its a monty wheel off a 221 ti (not sure what year) with try all snail cams. This is the hub i think I fitted the brake caliper first but when i tried putting the wheel in with the snail cams on, the rotor was much too far from the dropout to fit into the caliper. (the snail cams can only fit in the inside) Without the snail cam it fits fine but obviously the hubs miles away from the other side of the frame. I thought about swapping the spacers over on the hub because there different sizes but the one on the disk side (the larger one) wont budge. Does anyone know if its possible to get it off? I tried taking the caliper off just to see if the wheel would actually fit properly (with snail cams) but theres a few mm on each side and I'm not sure how safe it is bending the frame in to make it fit? confused! so basically has anyone successfully fitted a Monty rear disk wheel to a manus and how did you do it? can get pics if needed.....
  20. Looks sweet besides the bash ring....... not sure why. Maybe too chunky.
  21. Bike looks really nice! cool little vid. Thought you were going to go for that rail gap after the side hop though
