I'm not sure, TGS riders seem to run pretty much any tire from try-all to bald montys from years back. Think its all about the bounce with TGS. If I was riding TGS I would run a monty on the rear and a kenda up front, or a Maxxis on the rear if you dont want to spend the extra for a monty.

He's right. You would be better off getting the Maxxis ones which are a similar price.

Ive always avoided using platforms because the pins always came out so easy or bent which made for a uneven feel underfoot but the pins on the echo tr platforms are great. Been using a pair since xmas and not had any trouble yet.

Might see about persuading my dad to go see the mototrials at fort william this year and do the comp too. Will there be day membership (or half £5 membership like tyke trials does) or would I have to pay £10 for years membership and the comp cost too?

Can you get some pics of it Mark? The 2011 pure in bike pics at the moment has pretty poor photos. Looking to move upto 26" with it. like 20" version is looking pretty nice too

I haven't cleaned mine all winter really. I kept putting it off because Ive been riding regulary and its either been snowy or muddy so I didnt see the point. Planning to clean it tomorrow though seen as the weathers been a bit better

I think just the white rim would finnish it off nicely. the paint on the cranks will probably wear off pretty quick from bashes and your shoes rubbing on them.
