Apocalypse_reaper666 replied to craig250889's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
surely some of his mates has a 20" and one has a 26"? or if your lucky to live near a decent bike store or near bikedock hq then could always go there? -
i will get some pics of me doing stuff soon! hopefully this weekend! thanks for the comment endohopper

actually i knoe its rather expensive but get a hope trial disk! 1) they bed in fast! 2) once they are there super strong and the leaver has a ON/OFF feel which is very good for trials.
-
i dont really like montys but the simplicity of your bike is really kool! dont you need a chain tentioner, the chain looks fairly saggy and rusty But then again for the price you got it for its a good deal! plus i bet its light

This post just makes me laugh! i wonder what colour the next stig will be? pink? green? purple? stig+veyron=
-
an average is 35 to 45psi around that area. also a decent tyre and inner-tube helps and if you cut a old innertube up -ie, cut the valve out and cut down the middle then put it round your innertube it prolongs the life of your tube!

Magura Hs33 Green Hydraulic Rim Brake Set
Apocalypse_reaper666 replied to Scotty H's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
kool and a very random thing to come with hydralics! if anyone was going to get a pair of green hs33s i would hurry. there are also meant to be limited edition gold ones also! -
ive never thought of that but you need a resivoir for a disk brake and hs33 leavers dont have resivoirs. (im basing it on my hope trials disk on me other bike). i suppose it would just mean you have extra ajustment if it works. kool idea though!

Thats a huge help! if it was not so Rainy and i wasnt at work i would be riding right now trying them How did you snap your frame and what frame was it? What frame are you getting next?

What Size Frame To Get 20" Or 26"

Hers some VERY GOOD advixe posted by another member in a old topic: Apr 15 2006, 04:14 PM Post #1 Rich J Group: Members Joined: 11/09/2005 From: wantage Member No.: 7907 Bike Ridden : Multiple Choosing the right bike is very important. If you choose a bike that is completely unsuitable then it could effect you riding in a big way and stop you getting anywhere near your full potential. So heres a guide to making sure you get the right bike for you every time. First you need to decide on the type of riding you are going to be doing, downhill, freeride, dirt or in this case trials. When you have done this you need to know some information about yourself. You need to consider factors like weight, height, arm length. This needs to be thought about because some bikes are weaker than others and unless you are a very smooth rider it could crack or snap. Also your general size could decide whether you ride a stock or mod. I know a 18 stone man who rides a mod but generally bigger people ride stocks smaller people ride mods. If your inbetween or undecided on what to ride have a go on both. Once you have decided what type of bike you are going to ride its now time to start looking at the range available. There are endless styles and sizes of bikes so its best to look around. The internet is a good place to do this as you can find loads of information on the bikes such as suggested riders size. this is good because some bike wont be suitable for your riding no matter who you are. When you have found bikes that you think are suitable go ride them any bike shop should let you try them out. Or you could try some of your mates bikes out see what you think of them. Once you have found your bike look around prices will differ so look for offers and sales you could also look in the for sale/ wanted section on here for some amazing bargins. When you have bought your new bike go ride and enjoy it! Hope this helps Rich This post has been edited by dickj: Apr 15 2006, 04:16 PM the above was wrote by another member not me i just copy and pasted it to help. -
now you mention it im not sure.... i will look!
