Well I've seen alot of them forks snap at the steerer tube, like my old echo hi-fi's but it might be worth it just to get riding, is there any difference between the 06 and 07 versions.

Well to be honest buying a new bb would make a hell of allot of sense. Cheers for everyones help

my forks were just under a year old so i don't really know if it was just wear and tear, when i get a picture i'll put it on here.

I have just recovered from having three broken fingers so the first thing i do is go out on my once trust bike. Coming up late in the day i try a hook on some wierd polestyrene reel. First time i try and get up the steering becomes really stiff so i fiddle a bit to loosen it up, second time I go up it gets even more stiffer so I loosen it up again, but the third time i went up my forks snapped at the steerer tube and I nearly got a face full of poplystyrene. A bit of advice from me don't buy echo hi-fi/team forks and if your steering all of a sudden becomes stiff take your forks out and check the steerer tube. On top of all this I now don't know what forks to buy, anyone got any tops tips? cheers Andy

Thats quite good riding, give it a year or two you would have great potential at becoming as good as some well known trials riders Keep up the good work

It's only just all of a sudden started happening after I put my new cranks on, do barings die that quick?

My cranks will no stop wobbling and creaking I've tightened the bolt for the cranks and tightened the bottom bracket and it still wobbles. Anyone got any ideas in what it might be?

Rick if we rode on halloween we will just get eggs thrown at us then we will proberbly get beaten up by chavs thinking they are cool, or is that just everyday that happens to me. I'll just stay at home just to avoid anyone asking 'Gimme some sweets or we'll play a trick on you' personally I think its blackmail don't you? I would even bother dressing if i was going to ride then.

Most people choose middleburns because they are ultra strong and quite light and I think the warranty time is quite good on them. It will take allot to break a middleburn.

i am not really a big fan of the GU because all of that bb rise, I wouldn't mind something on the similar lines of the koxx, not much bb rise and about 1065 or 1085 kind of wheelbase because I tend to to more street riding than natural or comp style riding.

Its coming to that time when i'm starting to get bored of my frame, but I'm looking for a brand new one but there is just too many different stock frames out there . I currently ride a koxx level boss and its scratched dented and break mounts have been un threaded. Any idea in what to get? Cheers

I haven't got any pics of my fingers just yet but I should be putting a pic of me x-ray on soon if you wanna see the damage. It's a day later and my fingers still bloody hurt.

I am pissed off but happy in some way because I fell off me bike today and snapped two fingers diagonally in my hand. It could have turned out allot worse if I didn't wear my lid because I came over the bars and landed head first. So if you don't wear a helmet you are very silly, it doesn't matter how big or small you go, if you fall it can turn out quite bad if you hit your head. Another annoying thing is when a group of chavs have just seen you jump up a wall they don't really care but they just want to know how far can you wheely.

depending on how much money you want to spend I would suggest cannondale fatty r forks because they are very strong and reliable. I run echo hi-fi forks and they've lasted for over a year and still are not cracked. cheers

What stem have you got at the moment? I used an onza t-rex stem it feels fine, I think its quite strong because mine hasn't snapped, and it rises quite high which makes the bike feel nice. It works on my koxx. Andy

Thanks for your help I've now ordered one but its going to be here on tuesday so looks like I can;t go to the london ride tomorrow

I've look at tartybikes but the koxx mech hanger isn't the one to fit in the levelboss and nether is any of the others , but thanks anyway.

Does anyone know a place to get koxx levelboss mech hangers and are not too expensive, because mine has snapped?
