  1. So no one remotelly agrees with my idea of taking the good points of each frame and making one tasty as f**k frame. My idea again but a little clearer (I hope) Take the front end of the carbon design whack in a normal headtube. Take the one piece yoke and bb and the cncd goodness of the rear end of the other one and slim dowen the dropout area theres just no need for it. Glue them all together and you have a very tasty frame.
  2. Yeah it shaving a definat impact on those Chai worms
  3. I worked in a library was good for one thing. I should never work in one again. Get used to the interview I had one intervioew for Sainsburys asked me 2 questions and I had a job now Im scarred as I have an interview for the civil service last stage so possible job.
  4. Go shopping have a bite to eat, do whatever my dear but dont run home to me. :( :-
  5. They all have good and bad bits about them. Id liketto see all those ideas combined into one frame. I like the one piece bb/yoke bit and the carbon bit and the cnc'd rear end, but the front end should just look normal and the rear dropouts need scaling down a bit. But take bits from each make a frame and there you go, otherwise there all horrible unless indivdual bits are taken from each and combined. Get my drift
  6. Oh well your late your late, get an eariler train. :( I may not turn up at all yet, really depends how efficiently I can check my dissertation on saturday and if my chain will ever tension properly.
  7. I bought 3 half links so it should lengthen the chain that little bit extra I need as a whole link was too much.
  8. I didnt notice any difference on my mod when using 165mm cranks but Ive had to go back to 158mm cranks becasue of the bike only letting me run a particular setup.
  9. Please close or delte I have decided on a solution
  10. Another thing customriders sell 2 half links. One says offset and the other doesnt. Are all half links the same.
  11. Chains brand new I thinkits the funny gear Im running. Anyway ignore allthat crap I have found half links so Ill be ordering some of them. Should make my chain that little bit longer so it fits. My chain is too short and the hub is is in the dropouts as close to the bb as possible. I can use any half link that says for use with 1/8 chains. Correct?
  12. My stupid chain is to short and adding another link makes it too long. I have worked out what I can do but theres a few choices just not sure whats best. 1) Get a half link for a kmc which I dont know if these are avaliable 2) Buy a 12tooth king kog (I run a 13t) 3)Buy a mtb chain (hopefully the length is better 4) Buy that half link chain I just dont know what to do, for all i no none of this methods may work.
  13. Oh we get to play on the carboard boxes, oh oh,. Im still undecided I have a funny feeling my dissertation is gonna run into problems in the checking stage.
  14. My monty was 990 then with the same forks on and a year later it had grown to 1015. My echo must be 1033 plus a bit havent measured it yet, its still not built.
  15. Bike should now be built by 2night so only excuss I still have is my dissertation needs proof reading and checking, which is gonna be a Saturday thing so fingeras crossed nothing goes wrong a la my computer dying on me.

  24. Gear ratio would be too easy. Got the fixed cog and cranks time to put them on and fit the chain. Another few days and maybe Ill have a bike. Just a brake to fix and hopefully my chain will be nice and tight without the need for snail cams (stupid dropouts)
