Beastly, you can come BMXing with me. Whats the point in me riding BMX in the wet my brake wont work, my tyres are slicks Ill die. I also ride every day if the weathers ok you checky lad. Local wise Me, Chai, Dan, Jimbo are only 10mins away by trian theres a few people I kow that live in Central London

New pads on everything seems ok, little bit of sipping but I put it down to the pads bedding in. Ordering a nice shiny chrome Araya rim.

You might need the Park chain tool, I can never remeber the mode number. Or you could do what I did and use mole grips to push the pin in a bit so it fits into the chain breaker, yes its dodgy but it does work.

Boring me bought another set of V-Flys, will run them on my black rim for now see if they work well and if they dont then Ill buy a new rim, no need in spending money on a rim if Ijust needed new pads.

I know Plaz V-Flies are good I used t run them on my BMX but its been so long since I had a brake that Im sure other pads have come out, which they have and I dont know much about the new stuff. I was trying to work out if there is anythingb etter out there than V Flies for a BMX. Id get the CRV's but ther eout of stock everywhere, if anyone can find them then I will buy them problem solved.

Yes I thought of that then remebered BMXers tend to think Koolstops are the bess's kness and dont have a clue about trials specific pads. I want a grabby brake for abbucas and fufanus everything else Ive got used to brakeless. I will only use the brake when I really have to, either the above moves or stopping.

Its been along time since Ive had a brake and Im out of touch with the V brake ads on the market. I used to run Plazmatic V-Flys but is there anything else worth getting outt here. Ive seen Tthe Heatsink Coust V Brake pads but would the lastic or cnc's backing be better. Im stuck on what to get for my BMX, I need somethignt hat will lock with little effort on my smooth black rim.

And also Marky when the cable snaps from a bit of wear and tear you can then take it off and cut it down rather than go buy a new cable becasue mr stupid wants it short to start with.

All above are nice bikes. I bought a brake finally, doesnt work very well becasue of the crap rim but thats the next thing to sort. Is it worth grinding my rim to improve the braking until I replace the rim, which wouldn't be for a few months atleast.

I got no trouble in Staines. Theres a carpark offthe roundabout, go to Sainsburys from Egham and take the 1st exit on roundabout the car park is on the left, its a 2 storey thing. Also go through the high street and under the railway briddge there is a gas plant with some massive drops and rail gaps. Sainsburys is fun Theres some big sidehhop walls over 40inch by the bus station Theres loads of slabs on the river front and some natural There loads in Staines. Also is it still free travel form Egahm to Staines, always was for me stupid guards.

Yep Ive become a lazy sod now I found BMX. My advise is not to ride in Egham I got cautioned for ridng there, its a posh area just look at the car showrooms. Go to Staines and theres loads of riding there, 10min ride away, tonnes of rails, gaps, blocks, walls.
