Ok guys thanks for your help, could anyone if possible do what poopipe did but for 24"?
-
Thanks for the help so far, what about tyres? I notice alot of people are using the tioga tyres but the ones on 'Sam's, (Barcelona, Spain)' look really good.
-
Thanks alot steve thats really helpful, what about stems? I notice that those examples are between 80 and 90 mm length and 10 and 15 degree rise, is that a suitable stem for the 24uk?
-
Sorry forgot about this topic. Yeah what you've posted so far it awesome guys thanks alot. What affect does having short or long chainstays have?
-
Hey guys well im still looking at getting my new frame, quite possibly a leeson or the new 24uk. Anyway, ive seen the 24" scene on here is getting bigger and bigger and was just wondering if people could post the spec of thier 24" up? This will be my first proper trials bike so I want to see what are the best components for instance tyres and rims. Thanks alot in advance.

Does Anyone Have Any Videos Of Andrew Chai?
psychologist replied to LukeDraisey! :)'s topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I wouldnt mind that video jackbalman. Could you send it to me? -
Why not try both, cant see why you cant ride mod and stock. Watch out though with the t-masters, they have a reputation (like the old style t-mags) of snapping/cracking at the headtube. You could always comprimise and get a 24"

Hey Guys, i've been into trials for a little while now but still dont really understand how geometry affects the ride of a bike. For instance what effect does the rise on the stem have on the bike and the bb height, how does that effect the ride? Any help would be awesome, dont leave out anything because its obvious, im dumb
-
Yeah there is no recommend tyre pressure as far as im aware. All you need to do is pump the tyre up until you feel confortable, make sure is isnt too soft incase of denting or buckeling the rim and not too hard or it wont help absorb the hits.
-
As said above upgrade the cranks, but wait til the old ones are useless first.
-
Have you got any pictures of the frame? The one thing thats putting me off a leeson is that im not too experienced so I dont know what my ideal geometrey(is tha thow you spell it? ) is.
-
I hope so, this is an expensive hobbie WTF? Anyway back onto the thread, I think that trials is just becoming a bigger sport. When I started it was just me and 1 friend now theres a whole gang of riders (6-7). Just look at Trials-Queens as an example, there was like 3 or 4 at the start now theres 8 or 9. Trials is developing quickly and I think we'll be better off as it gets bigger.

They're fairly new and there havent been any reviews yet (and someone like Porter isnt riding one ) so people are going to be a bit wary before buying them and spending the £500 or something on them. Just like you, they dont want to waste money on a bike they dont like.

Mods are for girls . The one that is in the Bike Pics thread is a really nice colour!
-
Yeah thats whats attracted me to them, thanks for the speedy reply.

Hi there all. Im looking at getting a new frame, or possibly a new complete bike. The zoot looks nice and seems to have a good spec but I was wondering if anyone else had any other ideas for a 24" or 26". I quite like the Lesson's on here like Tomm's. Also how much would I be expecting to pay for a Leeson?

Has Any One Got Any Videos Of Someone On An Ashton
psychologist replied to theone2be's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
James Porter's (ginger nutter) teaser is up aswell, on the 1st page. -
I doubt may people have them, the frame isnt dis similar to the t-rex so it could ride similar to that.
