Maybe they are out of stock of the old one because Martin purchased the last of the 2012 version and there is in fact a 2012 bashring left on the grid wall at the warehouse because....dare I say it.... it was just a simple mistake and the wrong item was picked from the looks of things. That I may be but in my defence Mark I have just looked at my carbon bars and they are not that scratched, they have have taken a fair few hits and still seem great to me.

Facing the headtube would not remove that much material to make a difference I wouldn't of thought. Could always remove the cups, put stud and bearing fit on them and refit (might work) it will all depend on how bad the frame is. Hope this helps!

I'm going to bet you have a 19" on the back Please note: This tyre is marked as 20" x 2.50, but it is to fit a 19" rim! The marking on the tyre refers to the outer diameter of the tyre once inflated on a rim.

I don't know what the grinds are like compared to on an urban but I wouldn't of said they bend easy. As said TR rims would be a good choice if you don't want to go for a single wall rim.

I have had the Trialtech SL bars on since before the start of the year, not sure exactly when I received them, I found an email I sent to them reporting the progress mid January. I have not been gentle with them, they are still on the bike, they are still Beltin. No, strong ba*tard forks them, I did a fair few on my 4 bolt ones and there still fine (12 months oldish and I weigh a little more)
