  1. Do you grind from right to left when you turn wheel over? If so the grind will be opposite ways on the rim. Check the pads are square as suggested
  2. Provided it wasnt ridden after it cracked the threads should be intact or salvageable, unfortunate time for a breakage, hope you have spare stuff to use for the weekend!
  3. I might turn up as i know ill be in leeds on the sat night/sun morning
  4. You should have a thread to fit a small bolt in the frame for the chaintug to stop up against, put a bolt in there leaving the head on the outside for the snail cam to press against, undo the wheel nut or bolt, remove the chain tugs and place the snail cam on the axle in the middle hole of the cam then refit the wheel nut/bolt, turn snail cam to tension, tighten wheel nut/bolt. Job done!
  5. Aside from the weather not making its mind up, people getting kicked out and breaking my helmet I had a great weekend, only stayed for the two days though. Was nice to meet a few new people and see a lot of old people I hadn't seen in a long while. Highlights were probably seeing gav sprint then trip over a guide rope (had to be there for that) and seeing kennys face whist being pelted in his gentlemen area by kids with wet sponge balls. Thanks to Adam and Matt for spending all that time organising it and Adam and Clair for driving back on the Saturday night to get parts for people and fix Aurélien Fontenoy's wheel, saw some impressive stuff from that lad.
  6. He did an 11ft drop unintentionally to 2 wheels which ended up in a serious leg injury.
  7. no, he had a go and turned out he is too fat for it so he has gone back to his der kaiser

  14. Not a case of worn cogs and new chain riding over them is it?
  15. You dont but no one wants pads sticking to the rim yes there was bashing, i was out
  16. Was a good event and luckily the rain held off, was nice to see a few old faces I have not seen for a while and some new ones too! Some good stuff went down and I think everyone had a good day, i certainly did and I even managed to not brake my bike! Cheers for hosting the event and taking the time to set it up, was a cracking set up, the pictures didn't do it justice. Looking forward to more in the future and seeing some of the pictures you took, I know there were a few lol.
