  1. Hi, its is an onza t-pro frame the 04 one that i am using. I am puting all the parts back on as it was on the t-pro forks so i don't think i am doing anything wrong. The steerer has been cut at an angle.........do you know why that was if he was using the same stem as me? I can't see why you would cut it at an angle unless you were running a monty sloping stem. Ps. micheal, i though you were sending bolts with the disc, you said that you would. Cheers, Allen.
  2. ok, that^^ sounds a bit on the dangerous side lol. I have been talking to david20 on msn and he said it would be a good idea and would solve my problem if i ran a monty stem and some riser bars, this should mean that the steerer should be the right length. So i will see which i cheaper, 2nd hand forks or the stem and bars and i will hopefully buy the cheapest. Thanks to everyone, Allen. Edit: its not what you said david that sounded dangerous its the guy above about the cutting to low on his steerer.
  3. ok, so what stem is a lot lower than the creak cane that comes on the 04 t-pro? I really do not want to have to buy some more forks. Yeah i was thinking of filing down but it will still be to high so i thought if i did file i would lose money when i sold it to fund a new stem if you get me.
  4. Just what i didn't want to hear i will have to wait and save up more money. Could someone please tell me what and internal headset is......? is it when the stem cap can bolt into the forks? or am i on the complete wrong lines?
  5. Hello, I just bought some second hand echo lite, and the steerer has been cut and i am sure the guy i bought them off said that it hadn't been. But anyway, i went to put my stem on and it fits about half way over the steerer but the other half of the stem it not touching the steerer at all therefor i can't get the stem cap on . So i am wondering does it really matter if the stem is not on all the way on and my stem cap is not on? Will this cause any problems, will it weaken by bars and stem as they are not being supported my anything? will it bend my forks if i hit something like a step to hard? I really don't want to have to buy another set of forks as i don't have any spare money. Does any one have an suggestions as to what to do? Am i going to have to get a new set of forks? Thanks, Allen
  6. Hey, looks minted, are they my old forks and front wheel? What frame is that? Allen.
  7. Use the search, there are a few topics like this. I think they have great stopping power, but the bad things are......they stop the spokes rather than the rim if you get me, there is slight modulation so it will slip and could be scary if you do a high drop and land steep. But if you can have a shot of one and see what you think for you're self. Every one has very different opinions, just like front brake, some people like, disc some like magura and others like avid v brakes.
  8. I will also start to wear my helmet no mater how small the thing is that i try. My thought go out to his friends and family. RIP Jüri.

  11. Hey dude, sorry if it sounded sarcastic when i said 'read the guidelines the big red box at the top of the page' But i was just trying to help. I just read it over and it sounded sarcastic so sorry. But yeah as has already been said, read the guidelines, mikes guide to validation and good spelling, grammar ect will help. Also if there is a thread quite far down the page or even on the second or third page, don't just put a silly comment such as, bike looks good or sounds fun ect you need to say why you think it looks good or why you think the place looks like good fun. Then you sound stand out from the rest and be validated. Best of luck.
  12. I also had him add me to msn, he started going on about onza stuff i had for sale so i told him to send me the money and i would send him the parts but he just came up with lame excuse as to why the money never arrived. So i block and deleted him.
  13. Hi i am good thanks! Welcome to the forum. You could put a bit more information, where you ride, what bike you ride, how long you have ridding ect. Allen.
  14. Read the guidlines, the big read box at the top of the page.
  15. Hi welcome to the forum dude. Have you got any pictures, videos ect of you're bike and you riding you're bike? Spelling is very important if you want to get validated, but you seem to be doing ok with it and yes the spell checker will help. Thanks, Allen.
  16. Hi, i have just changed form an onza t-bird to an onza t-pro both are the same year (04) and both full builds. The really difference for me is how much lighter the t-pro. If you are thinking of buying one or the other i would go for the t-pro if you have the money, as it is easy to upgrade when you get better.
  17. I wouldn't imagen that taking the seat post off would make much off a difference to strength, i may be wrong but i doubt it would. And taking the stickers off and polishing it defiantly wouldn't
  18. Much better. what did you use to pollish it up, like the forks and the frame?
  19. Hey mike, That bike looks well sweet. i much prefer how it looks to the gu. Have you swapped for good or just a few weeks/months?
  20. Hi matt_tupman i have added you but am not sure if you have been on, could you add me to msn because all i need is the hub and to get the wheel built up so i am in a rush for one. Pics on here would be great if you are not on msn much.
  21. Add me to msn on cowe1990@hotmail.com so we can chat and you can send me some pictures.
  22. Cheers guy, i will try hope tomorrow, anzo has sold his one
  23. I have searched and they all seem to only have 32 and 36 hole.
  24. Hi, i am looking for a 28 hole disc hub, I have got a try-all rim that is 28 hole so i am looking for a disc hub for it now. Links to websites with them would be great. If anyone has one for sale i would like it to be in gold preferably but may take silver. I have looked in the for sale/wanted and posted that i want one but no one seems to have one for sale. Cheers, Allen
