Yes, but: One person buys it from the charity for £1. Charity gets £1. Buyer loses £1. Buyer then becomes the seller and sells it on on eBay for £5. Seller makes a profit of £4 in total. Buyer loses £1. Charity still has £1. However, if they both bought direct from the charity, the charity would have double the amount of money. Also, the person who buys it from eBay is saying they support that charity, but haven't actually given money to it, so it's a bit of an empty gesture. We're stuck with capitalism 'til someone else comes up with something better that actually works...

I'd have to a) have one, b) want to wear it and c) give a shit before I could legitimately answer that question. If the charities didn't have to keep paying for bands to be made, they'd probably be better off...

Spybot and Ad-Aware haven't picked up any spyware/adware connected to my Google toolbar, which has currently blocked 1261 pop-ups since I reset it ages ago. Spybot and Ad-Aware are really good programes to use though; if you've not scanned your comp before you'll probably get a whole load of objects picked up by it; well over 400 on one of our school's computers...

Why not just give money to the charities then? It's the same difference, really, it's just that you don't get to have a band? You're still giving money to the charities which is the whole point? You wearing a band isn't going to cure cancer, but you giving money to a breast cancer charity is going to provide funds for them to try and do it? This is the whole point I don't get - it seems liek a lot of people are wearing them just as if to say "I'm great, I give to charity". I've given money to almost all the charities involved, but that's just 'cos I wanted to help out not just so I can get a band and say "lookit what I've done". This was all before the bands though so it's not like I'd have had them anyway, even if I actually wanted one...

http://www.section7co.uk -> "Yaabaa" in the News headlines, then scroll down. No-one's opinions are going to be more than "looks cool/shit <delete where applicable>" though, just 'cos no-one's ridden them. I know they look similar to their other frames, but the tubing type and thickness will be another matter, as it how long they last. Meh, it'll be interesting anyway... Mark

In fairness though, it was just a street ride. We all have days where we want to get stuff done but don't have time or whatever. Plus it was just a riding session; not ultra serious. Probably why he "bitch pedalled" up there - it's just the way it goes sometimes. Plus, that's mostly from a couple of days of riding at most (unless it's just from the day at the start of the vid?). They seemed to move around quite a bit so I'm guessing there's just not enough hours in the day. It was just "Who can go bigger", but that's just 'cos they push themselves in that way, which is what they get their enjoyment out of. Plus, it didn't really show much of their character in the video as there were so many riders in it, so that's probably why it lacked that "fun street ride" sorta thing. Benito certainly looked happy at some points though. Jonny - I wasn't taking it as directed at me/a dig at me; was just trying to help you out (Y) Mark.

The Make Poverty History ones have been out for ages, actually. What's properly stupid, and which kinda shows the f**ktard nature of a lot of people, is the way that in places like TopShop, etc., you can now just buy random bands with words on them - not even charity things; they're just random bands (literally). It's really, really stupid and people seem to have forgotten the whole raison d'etre of the thing in the first place. Still bandless, but there we go. I'll never be cool. Mark

Onza got the chance to sell the Levelboss frame as the T-Pro when the Koxx Levelboss 20 frame came public in the Pulo catalogue. Maybe Koxx have just thought that perhaps their Trick or Djinn frame has gone public that if they sell it with a smaller subsidiary company, they can still continue to sell top end stuff at their regular prices, but clean up the lower end too by offering competitively priced frames? They cover all areas of the market, so it just makes sense for them to do it I guess. If other people can afford to sell the frames that cheap in the first place, I don't get why Koxx don't. The T-Pro is basically the Levelboss frame, yet £280-ish cheaper - if Koxx lowered the price of the Levelboss they wouldn't have to worry about competitors 'cos people would always rather the Levelboss over the Pro, just 'cos it's the genuine article. But no, their prices go up and up... Probably why I don't run a major trials company I guess. Thanks for the info though Chris, and cheers for getting Section7 going again (Y) Mark.

If it was a chicken though, everyone would be like "Meh, whatever." It's just 'cos it's got a history that everyone's getting a bit stressy. It's weird though, 'cos rabbit tastes like crap. Anyhoo, it would suck if it was real and he'd nursed that rabbit back to health only to have it killed; but the thing is is that he probably hasn't done it anyway, so there's nothing to worry about.

I wasn't on the forum from Sunday -> Friday, and I was in a rush 'cos Will Arnold had just spoken to me about pallets and I wanted to work out whether 9 of my pallets was higher or lower than 8 blue pallets. We all make mistakes I guess. If you don't like me being a mod, you can either: Go down the (better take his name out actually, who knows what kind of shit would go down (Y) ) route and call me "gay" over MSN. Go down the "decent" route and speak to Danny and Tom and ask them why I'm a mod. Have a super fun time doing either one, I'm sure it'll all be worth your whiles wasting your time (Y) In the interests of being fair, I'll leave this happy little thread open. Thanks for the info Rich.

Hey, Don't have any blue pallets, just randoms - was just wondering: how high are blue pallets? Just the one would be enough, from top to bottom. When they're flat on the floor, if you get me, not on their end. Thanks! Mark

Try RealPlayer? It's what I'm using for pretty much everything these days, and like I said - works fine for me (Y) Your download didn't get cut-off did it? Full 128Mb, etc.?

Echo have released a new Team; think XTP. Benito Ros has pushed a lot of boundaries; see KoxxDays thread. Chris Akrigg is now on Mongoose, and Martin Hawyes is now on DiamondBack. Onza are now doing the T-Rex is the "Ultimate Woodstock" spec too. Try-All coloured rims are on everyone's bikes (up until they fold (Y)). V!Z are sponsoring everyone who mentions Viz on the forum (except me. Exception that proves the rule (Y)). TRA broke his hand; Neil Tunnicliffe broke his ankle. The BikeShow is this weekend, rider list is on the forum. SelectBikes.com is now up and running and selling pretty cheap stuff (Echo, ZOO!, BT). TartyBikes.co.uk is up and running and selling pretty cheap stuff too (Echo, ZOO!, Onza, loads of other stuff - see Adam or Dave's signatures). Erm, think that's most of it. Mark. P.S. Ashton pulled a backflip on an ET24 at a demo, and TrialMediaOne was launched (see thread in Sites, Vids and Pics). P.P.S. Signature frames for Yao Chzi (or summat), CLS and Tunni. George Seamons is a mod. Everyone's sorta updated their frames a bit. Onza released pics of 5 pretty mental mod prototypes.

Could it be 'cos it's warmer now and everyone's riding a hell of a lot more, in more 'extreme' (read: bigger) ways? So more pressure being put on the hoses?

Don't really get what you mean about f**king up, worked fine for me? Anyway, amazing video. Would've been nicer if some clips had been cropped more, but it worked really well. Benito Ros is truly amazing, as is Hermance. Properly underestimated Kenny Belaey too; I'd seen a practise video of him riding some rocks and it was a bit (Y), but the video was boring as hell so it let it down a bit. Anyway, yeah, his riding's really cool too. Hadn't seen anything of that Keita guy before; looks pretty cool. Pretty shocking that he made that front->back thing up that wall! Looked well sketchy. Good video; cheers for the time you put into it (Y) Mark.

That'd be a bit too ghetto for my liking, Steve :o They are freaking cool forks. They've given it a slightly higher front end, so it feels more BMXy, which is all for the good. Anyhoo, does anyone know if Cleanbikes are going to be at the show? Or anyone selling Koxx products? I'm guessing NSE might be, but I didn't know the state of play... Are the Try-All/Koxx rims any good at all? Mark

Problems on the internet as in all the people who've had shitty experiences with PX letting each other know and other people know? Or maybe the wank with Brant and the guy who owns PX on Section7? Hmm, probably same way that when Koxx tried to worm their way out of giving Tim a new frame by saying he's "sand blasted it", and then Tim said that on here and everyone got a bit arsey with NSE and Koxx then asked him not to post on here. Bike companies rule :o

I need a new front rim, and I love the feel of the forks. Don't *really* see the problem there.

Someone didn't read the question :o Basically, this is my bike now: ...and I want a drilled rim to match the rear. Well, that and a front Creepy Crawler, but you know where you are when you're trying to get a Creepy... Thanks anyway, Mark

Hey, I'm trying to get a new front rim for my T-Pro. I want it to be silver (or blue, black as a proper last resort), drilled and not uber expensive. Can anyone give me a few examples? So far, I've only *really* found the Try-All drilled rim in silver to kinda match what I want, but it's like £35 from Cleanbikes, which is a bit more than I was looking to spend. Anyone got any other suggestions? I'm tempted by the Echo semi-drilled front rim from Select for £22.50, but I wanna check my options first. Thanks for any help, Mark

Any pics of it on the bike, Tic? Thanks for the info :ermm:
