  1. I can't really put my finger on why, but that's one of the best trials videos I've ever seen. No joke. :ermm:
  2. They do mean on mod though, so maybe there's some difference there. Since when has 20psi been "hard" though? I have a minimum of 30psi in mine :( Sucks about the rim though :ermm:
  3. The YMSA comps have been more laid back than almost every street ride I've been on. Fact.
  4. No problem Div :ermm: Yeah, your DMR's going to be 135mm spacing. Your ZOO! Python is 110mm spacing (just for future reference, Monty's are 106mm, so bear that in mind when you replace your hub for one that fits :)). Sucks to be you :(* Mark *Says the boy who's half-way through hacksawing his left-side crank off :P
  5. Er, with a CK Headset I think I'd pretty much demand that the only thing that touched it was a headset tool :ermm: Take it into them and they can see if it's seated flat. Is that well blurry, hard to see gap in that pic uniform height all the way around, or is it slightly higher in some places rather than others? Is your star-nut in vertically? If it's at a slight angle, it'll stop you being able to tighten it fully. With regards the star-nut being pulled out, I'm currently running two; a thread-less top one (somehow managed to rip out the little internal threaded part :() and then another directly below it that the bolt goes into, meaning it's got three layers of the cuppy bit holding it in, which does the job nicely. Perhaps your headset needs to be reamed? And the headtube faced too, wouldn't hurt... Mark

    Ouch!

My brother was wall-riding over the funbox at Newport, lost the front, and fell from the wallride down onto his bike (he landed it to flat, so it was a drop of about 8-10ft), and landed leg-first on his bars, and completely shattered his main femoral artery. They couldn't find a pulse in his right leg, and it "hurt 20" to quote him. He eventually persuaded the Newport people to take him to hospital, so they took him instead of calling for an ambulance, and he went straight into surgery. He had to have two operations, 'cos they sorted the shattered part, but as a self-preservation thing the lower part of the artery spazzed out and that had to be re-routed too. Overall; 11 hours of surgery, 10 pints of blood. Nice :ermm: If he'd not had bar-plugs in and it had broken the skin, he'd have bled to death in under 2 minutes or something like that. Hence, I run bar-plugs :( Mark

    Gallery

I usually just click on "Bulk Upload" and it's done, really... I don't know if I've got that 'cos I'm a mod or not though :ermm: If it's into your own gallery, go My Controls, View Albums, then on the drop-down menu by your gallery of choice just click "Bulk Upload Images". Good should then, theoretically, be a good 'un...
  8. I meant the one you landed on, I'm guessing it was to backwheel? It just looked like a flimsy li'l b*****d :)
  9. Remember: Gilles Coustellier left school when he was super young to focus on riding. Maybe we should all think like the French :o
  10. Specially without a back brake :) Looks cool though, as long as you don't sorta look too closely and spot the slightly wrong details and so on though :o
  11. Riding was cool, wasn't such a huge fan of the adverts bit. Hated it on that Viz/ShitBMX vid too though, so it's not just the way you did it or anything. I think it'd be better if you just had a "Team Riders" section that listed the parts you stock that they run on your website, as opposed to putting it on a video. Either way, apart from the advert bit it was cool :o
  12. Suspended for 2 years. Good work :o
  13. Yes. Basically... I'd really avoid that.
  14. If you measure the inside of your hub, any skateboard retailler should have some bearings you can use.
  15. Edd also converted a Hope hub with 135mm spacing to 110mm spacing, so that might be useful, if you bought a Hope with disc mount, then had it modded. 'd. Mark
  16. Yeah, 110mm (unless it's a stupid Monty, in which case we're looking at 106mm) compared to your fat-ass 135mm spacing. Anyhoo, apparently that disc mount could potentially work loose after repeated backhopping, but aralditing the discmount in place, then thread-locking/aralditing the lockring on should work :o
  17. Just checked DMRBikes.com: So from that, I'm guessing that it fits on the 'compact' freewheel side, meaning that you're sorted :o All you'd need would just be the disc mount and the locknut. Mark
  18. Yeah yeah yeah, but the point I'm getting at is that you could buy the screw-on disc mount for a Revolver, then run it on any standard mod hub. However, if it screws onto the standard sized freewheel thread (same thread size as, say, front freewheel cranks) then you'd have to find a different sprocket for the rear. However, if they screw onto the micro-drive side, you could run it fine with a 12t fixed rear sprocket with the disc mount on the micro-drive side. Mark
  19. Pretty much. I've always found the "cargo" style trou' are pretty fly, really. I like decent sized pockets so I can carry my phone/multitool/strawberry laces, so it works out nicely. I've started prefering them to be slightly tighter (not too baggy or owt), so I'm moving more towards those other style like described above. My Mum got me some plain black trousers from "The Trouser Factory" for like £13 so I could wear them to a family meal thing, and they're super comfy. Might have to buy a riding pair :o Mark
  20. Good call. Does the DMR Revolver disc attachment attach to the micro-drive (14t> side) freewheel threads or the standard threads (14t<)? If it's the micro-drive, most mod hubs have micro and standard, so it should be diamond... Well, as much as a screw-on disc mount can be :o
  21. The only one I really knew of before was the Bikegas disc hub by Megamo, but since Megamo went tits up I think you're largely screwed. Monty presumably do one, 'cos Cesar Canas runs rear disc on his mod, and you can also get Brisa B20D's, so I'm guessing too that Brisa might do one :o Mark
  22. How the buggering hell did that picnic table take that?!
  23. What inside leg is that? I'm tempted :o
  24. According to UEFA last night, they're either going to remove their right to host games at their home stadium, make all their games 'closed doors' for a while, and fine the tits off them. Although, to be fair, seeing as Wayne Rooney gets £70K a week, I guess money means f**k all to football teams...
