  1. Well, first step is just to take the crank off/wheel out (if you're running rear freewheel, which I'm doubting). Get a hammer and a screwdriver, and knock the lockring loose. Take that off, and the first thing you'll probably notice is the thick blue grease smeared everywhere. Get a rag and wipe it clean. You'll then have a little clip that's holding the bearings/outer shell on. Take the minx off (or, if you're me, try doing a gap, then notice your lock-ring had loosened and cross-threaded, and the outer shell is hanging off at an angle, with no little clip thing in sight (Y)). You can then just pull the outer shell off, leaving the inner bit with six lovely pawls on show. If you've never stripped it, these WILL be covered in a thick grease which is just from the bearings when they've done their bedding in. Give the pawls and springs a *Really* good clean. Degrease them and get the rag in all the nooks and crannies. You can take off the little seal the other side of them to get down both sides of the pawls. After you've done this, turn your attention to the ratchet bits inside the outer shell. Again, just wipe them clean. Get a small screw-driver and put the rag around the tip so you can get right into the depths of them, 'cos they're pretty fiddly. Basically, the effort you put in will dictate how well the freewheel works :) Just give it all a thorough clean, then get around to putting the outer shell back on. You'll be wanting to do this by laying it on top of the other bit of the freewheel. Then, put pressure down above one of the pawls. Using a screw-driver, press that pawl in. The freewheel outer will slide down a bit. Put pressure on the next pawl along, and press the pawl in and make sure the otuer shell goes down and covers it. REpeat this for the rest 'til it's all sitting nicely. Spray some GT-85/light wet lube into the bit with the springs 'n' pawls, then put the outer seal back on. Clip the clip back on, then Threadlock the lock-ring back on. Hey presto, a louder, more reliable Eno (Y)

    Scam Or Not?

Haha, ironically it wasn't even Mr. Nic who found it (Y)

    Scam Or Not?

Sorry, yeah, I forgot the: "Send £3 to the first person in the list below: Onzaboymark Munki Urpedigreechumdog" That's basically it.

    Scam Or Not?

Er, if I went on here and said "everyone send me £3, it'll be great", wouldn't you be a bit suspicious?
  5. Most people here would probably start thinking I was talking summat funny if I started saying "I like ewes" though...
  6. Now, here's the funny thing. You all make fun of me 'cos of my sheep-lusting ways, yet think about this: You have a porn folder. In this folder, you have some nice femmes, who can't afford many clothes. Your Mum finds this folder. Awkward. - If I had a porn folder. Pictures of sheep. My Mum finds this folder. Not so awkward (Y)
  7. Call me silly, but making it a pretty colour is going to entice tramps MORE, surely?

    Space Cop Vid

Haha, b*****d Matt ;) Yeah, I wanted to make that for our Stephen Morris (Y) Got a 20" sidehop on it at school, but it gets surprisingly scary after that, from fear of scraping down the wall, and also due to shit snapping. Bill managed to do a pretty big stair drop on it, more power to him...
  9. I voted Lib Dem, and they got in by a huge margin in my area. I feel like I won (Y)

  11. Are you really so f**king blind you can't realise it was a joke?
  12. I'm guessing he doesn't mean ">" in a "greater than" sense, just as an arrow to show direction of movement :-
  13. I've never really worried about them, but (touch wood) seem to do OK in them. Got my Art exam tomorrow and I'm sorta looking forward to it, 'cos it's a 12 hour exam and I'll be mostly just developing photographs in the dark-room :P Should be cool... Mark
  14. Try Google'ing the "Commonwealth" or something? Those are places that were/are still under British control/sovergeinity (word? :P)...
  15. Sorted :P Nice quality, nice sound, etc. What brake pads are you running, btw? Sound good...
  16. I'm using a DMR one at the moment. They're tougher than the standard neoprene sorta guards (like the Lizardskins ones/free MBUK one) - it's taken it's hits. The only time it let the frame take a knock was sidehopping to a sloped, pointy-topped wall and I landed on the stay on the point. Which was fair enough, really. The wall earnt it's chance to hurt my bike :P Anyway, it'll definitely do for stopping chain slap :- Mark
  17. Apparently, Quicktime and RealPlayer don't have the skills to pay the bills, and Quicktime's server ain't bailin' em out... Just audio and white for me, sorry...
  18. Auto-Mod For Sale/Wanted topics are no longer allowed in New Members Chat. If you wish to post a For Sale/Wanted topic on Trials-Forum you need to read and follow this - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....ounce&f=13&id=3 Topic Closed.
  19. The "pitch" refers to the length of the chain, whereas you need the width. Seriously, unless you specified "KMC Kool Thin", you'll have the 1/8th" version.
  20. Whoa, a whole "60 members online at one time"! Jesus H. ;)
  21. Yeah, but were they just watching you riding trials? Either way, for f**ks sake do you realise how childish and un-necessary this whole thing is? If I had a go at every townie wanker who 'stared' at me I'd basically be either beating or being beaten 24/7. Just deal with it. There are twats everywhere. It's easier to just ignore it than to get your head kicked in. To call them a "daft paki" was a bit f**king stupid to put it mildly...
  22. Interesting question... I'd have thought worldwide, the Koxx Levelboss would be well, well up there in over-all sales. I know the X-Lite 221's been around since God were a wee lad, but the Levelboss has sold super well. A year ago or so, everyone had one pretty much, so I'd have thought that would've done pretty well, although 'cos everyone's copied it and improved upon it (even Koxx themselves) I guess it's fallen out of favour now...
  23. Word, Mr. George. There's a validation thread in Senior Member chat, and that's used pretty frequently. People still put up people's names in there, but to be fair, it's slowing down a bit now. Admin's weren't ultra fast at validating 'cos Danny and Tom have lives and have a job running the forum as it is, so when we got the validate option too, we all tried to clear the backlog of people. That's why there was a shitload of people validated really quickly. However, now, it seems most of the people left in there aren't really putting a lot of effort in. Before anyone goes hideously nuts at me, this is just from what I've seen from having a quick scan through there (Topic titles like "Echo Control Owners Post Ur Pic Of Ur Bike In Here" don't really suggest super good quality post quality, etc.). People are still being validated, so it's not all bad. Anyway, like Sameer said, NMC doesn't really need to be super good because hopefully people will get themselves noticed for good reasons pretty quick and get validated. Nick managed to do 4 posts and got validated just to show people it could be done, Desire68 got validated almost instantly, etc...
