The sound waves are still there. The only variable in the situation of a tree falling and there being someone there and a tree falling and no-one being there is the sound wave receptor (i.e. your ear). The absence of this doesn't change the impact creating sound waves. If a tree falls in the forest, and no-ones around, how would they know a tree had fallen over in the forest anyway?

SuperS*** Parkinson got here today from Ben Lee :) Rides really nice, change from the Shorty McShort-Short Federal. Rides really nicely on ramp, and for everything basically... The Federal was a silver frame, and it had black parts 'cos they went well. Now though I've got a black frame and it's well stealth/goth :) Got a dodgy bald Holy Roller up front ('til I put my 2.1 V-Monster back on), and a knackered (two holes in the side of the tyre covered up with plastic) Elm Street tyre on the back. Elm Street's well nice, but the Holy Roller is arse. This is Matt Hudson's WTP Thrillseeker too, just so he's got his say :(

Every frame breaks. Basically, they ARE different frames. Don't really get why they can't use XTP geometry on the Levelboss though? Seeing as most of their pros who don't have sig. frames ride XTP's of some kind? 'cept Kenny Belaey... Obviously didn't have much imagination on the go when they told him he could have any frame he wanted...

If that's the BB that came with it, I'm not surprised. The one Onza product I hate are their BB's. They're just shockingly bad. Weak as anything. On the plus side, your's actually fitted a pair of cranks. Mine came so short with the frame kit I couldn't actually get any cranks on without ring/freewheel rubbage...

Er... and? Pete's generally wrong about stuff, and he's probably wrong in this case. Claiming a chainstay lenght that can easily be proved wrong by the first customer is unlikely, isn't it? And different depth tyres with different rims would significantly alter the 'look' of it. So yeah, I don't really give a shit if Pete's bike has 2mm stays. That BB yoke Pete's made is going to die, basically, but no doubt it'll have some Petey magic in it so it'll work fine :D Mark

Wondercups for the Parkinson got here yesterday, which was nice :D Just gotta bosh all the stuff on it and ride. Managed to blow up a Primo V-Monster today (two holes, from a horriiiiiiiific hang up on a hop->manual up some steps), and all my spares are sorta raped. Used some plastic from Renthal grip packaging to bodge over two holes in a 3-hour old Elm Street tyre that died between the rim-lock bit and the main tyre. Ordered a Path tyre anyway to replace it, so that'll be here Tuesday with a bit of luck/love... Anyone used the Odyssey Elementary stem?

175mm cranks make me spuff. Easy to kick (like 18:13), but you still get all the power of 18:12. I really don't get why mod riders always seem to limit themselves to fecking tiny 158mm cranks... Ah well, amazing for me so screw everyone else I get :D
