At the YMSA comp I was at when he was there, he WAS swearing at times, and he was shouting not during sections but after/before. To me, this is a shitty way to go about going to a comp. Every time I've been anywhere near him, and he or his Dad has opened their mouths, it's generally served to lower my opinion of them yet more. Again, I know I'm not alone in this view as others have expressed this same thing to me. YOU may like them Aust, and that's fair enough, but to try and tell me that black is white isn't going to work.

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by "official"? And what's this mysterious thing that occured at Addingham that Danny got "punished" for? To be honest, whether Danny rides the Worlds or not doesn't really mean anything to me. People are saying it'll be good for "British trials", but I'm still going to go out riding this weekend whether the Butlers are shouting and swearing and making tits of themselves at the Worlds or at home, really. That's all that really matters to me. Fortunately, the only comps I've ridden have been YMSA comps mainly because I know they don't have the same sort of shit going on with them that there seems to be at the Brits and more recently at the Tyketrials. But there we go, it's not like we're doing this for fun, is it, so it shouldn't matter (Y) Well done everyone who's going to be riding anyway.

You drunk or something? :turned: Anyway, he's already said he doesn't want tar, so I guess that's the way things go...
-
You could basically say: Smooth rim....<Any pad name>....bit a tar. :P hold like, woooooowwwww yesss m8t!!!

I've mullered myself a few times, and it's just a case of getting up as soon as you can and doing it again. Try not to think about it, you'll just work it up in your head as being a bigger deal than it is. Just treat it the same as any other similar drop/gap/up and you'll be alright.

Is it me, or does it look like "Gaz" came up short in that backwheeling pic? :turned:

Yeah, I know who he is. Seems like the TT's lost a load of it's best riders over the past couple of years; Steve Hislop (although he's not so recent I guess), Joey Dunlop, David Jefferies, etc. Anyway, I was going to say keep it, but seeing as he wanted to help you raise money, write to the Motor Cycle News (www.MCN.com, I think) and say you're going to put it up for sale on eBay, or try and sell it through them. I'm certain someone will be pretty interested, and you could probably get quite a bit of money from it. It's sorta harsh in a way in that he's dead, but this is what the guy who had it before wanted, so I'd go for it. Something good's sure to come of it, so it should be OK I guess. But yeah, call/e-mail/write to MCN :turned: Mark

I found since I got some non-shit pedals (i.e. not VPs), that my feet were held far enough away 'cos of the length of the spindle. With my X-pedals, my feet are pretty far away anyway, so they just don't come into contact...

Hmm. Last time you used that funtabulous story, it was £32 million. Equally, the debt isn't cleared, it's just passed on from their government to the coalition of governments who say they'll absolve the debt. Therefore, they wouldn't magically be given some lear-jet-style spending money. Also, they're now saying they're sorting the infrastructure out prior to giving them any money, so we're all ridiculously happy anyway.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
-
Jeez, can you seriously not actually assess the situation and understand it? I'll spell it out. If the governments owe us loads of money because we forced them into debt, they have to direct most of their money into paying us back. If they are directing most of their money into paying us back, they can't afford to provide decent health-care, education, a decent transport network, etc. If they can't afford to do that, the people of the country are in the shit. That really didn't take a f**king leap in thinking to work out...

If you're after a sorta Zip-Grip style grip, why not the ODI Longnecks? My brothers have lasted for 2 years, and are comfy as hell. They might not have green in them, but your hands are gonna be covering them anyway, you bike whore

OK, time to wade in with my moderating powers to solve this: You're all dicks. Stop typing.

In that they're all saying pinch, I'm guessing it's proper unlikely it's anything to do with the spokes. Spokes wouldn't cause two holes like a pinch would, unless something properly weird happened...
-
All the riders around here say they seem to be shit^lots. I tried them very briefly, but I didn't really like the feel, look or...well...anything about them...
-
I get a monthly statement on both my accounts as standard. Sounds like Barclays sucks balls... I don't really want a monthly statement though, because I generally just look at the cash point approx. 15m from my front door if I need to know how shit-broke I am \

I haven't had a pinch puncture in about...well...over a year and a half, I think. The last one I had was in my front tyre, when it was a Maxxis copy, 20x1.85 I think... Anyway, I digress - I run my tyres pretty firm, and I've simply had no problem with pinches. I've rimmed a coupla times, but it's just not pinched. Oh yeah, Craig - Matt tells me you North Wales riders all have retardedly soft tyres, so although compared to your friend's they're pretty "hard", they aren't  My only gripe with the Creepy Crawlers in having to buy a new pair every 1 1/2-2 months...

I could actually feel the standard T-Lite hampering me and holding me back. No joke. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too short for me. The geometry's just sketchy. The T-Lite Long I had for the Deej ride was better, but I still "downgraded" to the T-Pro and can ride loads better on it...
-
I've got my X-Pedals, and they properly do it for me. Light, grippy, swish. Job's a good 'un. Plus, they cost less and weigh less than the mag/ti V12's (or whatever the crap the material is DMR thought they'd make them out of...). Seriously worth a look.
-
Yeah, but you can basically do that in the Bike Pics section of the Gallery? And then people click "Reply" and can comment on them (Y) Just looks a bit different to a standard thread, but the functions are the same.
-
Er, like the Gallery?

Hmm. Abbey here is open 2 1/2 days a week, so if I happen to be lucky and manage to get there when they're open, I might demand a non-shit card from them. I can't really be arsed moving account before anyone says anything. I can barely be bothered to sort out a different card (Y)

Way to add to my "Do _____ to prove _______" wrong list, Tomm (Y) As if it's not full enough all ready (Y)
