I learnt the correct grip on a golf-club, the correct way to swing, and how to twat stuff hard. That's served a pretty good purpose for when Bill Field happens to bring a golf club to the ramp. Yes, but you decide on the compound, NOT the colour, surely? If it's a fairly hard compound and you want it softer, say, it might go from dark red to lighter red. You'd decide that because you wanted a softer pad, not 'cos candy apple red is nicer than maroon or whatever...

From "we haven't decided on the colour and compound" it sounded like you were trying to find a nice colour too, which is what I was basing my comment on.

I think 99.9% of people would just prefer it if you got a compound that worked. Every pad company seems to have "done extensive testing" and used a "development test team" or whatever, yet no-one's actually got a decent compound yet and people are still paying money for products that are actually NOT ready for sale. This isn't just Rimjam, by the way, it's just that this is the only topic I can vent in. Lies don't do it for me...

They could easily say you just shouldn't ride it on the road and shouldn't ride it on the pavement, only at the skatepark? If it's not fit for either then it shouldn't be used for either in the eyes of the law. Same deal as with Go-peds - not legal anywhere, but people still use them...

Yeah, same here. I didn't even bother using Yeah Right! 'cos I knew it'd get that video coming up*. Landscape might be a subdivision of Element? *Note: Yeah Right! is the 2nd best video I've ever seen, and I'm a BMXer not a skater. It's just amazing. The invisible board section where they do all the moves with a 'green' board (think green screen stuff in films :D), then edit the board out is awesome... Anyway, yeah, shit-hot video!

Aight bitches. Here's the deal: I was shown a copy of HSCPlus's Winter 2004 catalogue today. For those who didn't know, like I didn't up 'til 2pm today, they do "EXTREEMEEMEMEMEME" clothing. Anyway, there were two T-shirts in there I really liked. This is where the trouble begins. Now isn't Winter 2004. Now is Autumn 2005. Issue. I'm trying to find ANYWHERE that sells a "Yeah Right!" T-shirt by Girl Skateboard company (crappy drawing ahoy), and a "Character" T-shirt by Landscape (another skateboard company, I believe). Two rough sketches will appear soon :D If anyone can help me track somewhere down - any shops, etc. that sell Girl/Landscape stuff - that'd be awesome. That's pretty much what'll happen then :D If you're riding on the pavement, you are technically breaking the law, so they're within their rights to do you for it. You can bleat all you want about druggies and shit like that, but it happened to be a case of bad timing for you, pretty much. If you're 15 you might get off with it, but your friends 'being funny' or whatever is a f**king stupid idea. You're relying on their generosity to get out of being fined, so either being a dick yourself or trying to make them look like dicks isn't going to help.
