As an alternative, depending on your frame you could try running a splitter and have a separate hose to each cylinder. If you can route them around your seatstays a bit tighter you'll be less likely to hit them or catch them. It's more due to the shape of his frame, but as an example from Stan's bike:

Why would that be a problem? Competitions are expensive to enter, there are only a handful of National rounds a year now and not a huge amount of Club trials, they're not particularly well distributed around the country, etc. - why would promoting trials as being a fun activity that people can do anywhere be a bad thing? EDIT: For top level UK riders - Charlie Rolls and Adam Morewood are doing pretty well and are already winning international comps. There's not the same number of top level riders as there are in the French and Spanish comp scenes but that's explained to an extent by the above.

I went from the 70x25 to a 70x35, and then made the switch to an 80x40. It basically gives you exactly what you're looking for. Those stems work really well on bikes with steeper head angles like the Arcade

Almost all rotors bolt you buy now will have threadlock pre-applied unless they're ti upgrade bolts or similar. Hope, SRAM, Shimano, Magura, etc. all use threadlock as standard.

If you decide to go for a general all-round hard tail, it's worth checking out the rear disc mount to make sure it's reasonably well reinforced. The one on the bike you mentioned original is a fairly generic/catalogue dropout and mount, so with the extra forces that trials will put through it you've got an increased chance of breaking the frame there.

Managed to piece together what the score is through Instagram and luck - Andrei's doing another 'London Trials Battle' thing at RideLondon.

There's no reason you can't get back to that though. Just rehab it properly and patiently and you'll be able to build it up gradually to where you were before. It'll take time, but it's a bit of time now for a lot of good times later, or rushing to get back into things earlier and jeopardising what you're capable of further down the line.

Yeah, you're right - definitely haven't been any far right marches in London ever. Certainly weren't pro-Trump demonstrations either As JD said, "far" is the key thing with it. Justifying the behaviour of one extreme because of the behaviour of the other makes no sense. People just need to be less cunty, that's about it.

How dumb is that lottery." A few riders missed out on finals by getting 5's for missing gates/markers. Not surprising with how weirdly laid out the UCI sections are now. Doesn't exactly make it any easier for random spectators to follow either, and surely it's not that hard to make them a bit more of a 'track' or 'loop' or whatever.

Magura are pretty tight on warranty stuff so it might be tricky getting much out of them with it being second hand. Maybe worth a look into it though but I believe they usually want proof of purchase these days so you might get scuppered by that.

It's not, which is the weird thing. CLS, Damon, Tunni, Andrew Dickey and those guys put out some amazing videos that were far from boring, and seeing guys like Carthy go huge is always great too. The only reason they're 'boring' is that no-one puts time into photos/videos, whereas the street guys do. Andrew Dickey's videos went relatively viral despite being 'pogo'/TGS so it shows it can be done. Ali's points related to this in the HKT Podcast interview he did were spot on.

#justmagurathings Sounds like there might be some air in the system, it'd be worth doing a little top-up at the lever end just to check. If it keeps doing it, I'd suggest buying an MT2 lever from eBay and just swapping your MT6 lever blade over to it and avoid having to deal with the hassle again. The MT2/4/5 bodies are seemingly a lot more consistent/reliable than the 6/7 bodies. Pretty sure it's something to do with the BAT adjuster. You can replace the BAT adjuster with a bolt which can improve things, although it stops the lever having the same kind of dislocate feature so if you catch the blade on anything it's more likely to snap the blade or the body.
