  2. I think... lots of people are scared of having to look through more than a handful of subforums, so it'd never happen, and its not as if its difficult to look at the thread to find out whats in the vid. Sorry.
  3. Correct :D Just wondering what the issue with me running a shop and being a moderator is? If theres any funny business, the moderation logs can be checked out. Good thread, I wont contribute any more than that. Adam
  4. Both are 48. Both use 4 pawls and a 24 tooth ratchet.
  5. Chop the old ones off, and fix them back on? I doubt they'd 'exist' as a standard part, since all frame tubes are different shapes. Just rob some of another frame :ermm:
  6. Hehe, silly billy :ermm: 3mm TOTAL is about max recommended :ermm:

    New Bike...

    Interesting thread.
  8. Hmm, depends how thick those spacers are? Id not recommend any more than 3mm's worth really. Id say its worth a go if we both think it :ermm:
  9. Theyre the best ones, by far! The 'K' ones that come on Zebdis (MK3 and 4) are the worst, slightest pressure and theyre bent!
  10. Hmm, im curious as to why they told you not to do this...? Anyway, not shitloads, but enough to make sure it covers the threads, of course. Loctice doesnt chemically bond the materials together, simply expands to cause pressure between the surfaces, so i cant see any problems with removal...
  11. Thats the problem with (high end) RF BBs... the cups adjust the bearing preload :ermm: Poor design. You'll have to use loctice, but degrease it first (actually degrease it, not just wipe it). I had to use a ton of red loctite on mine when i had it.
  12. The long ones also usually bottom out, meaning you cant get them tight.

IMO the design of that tensioner is fundamentally flawed - the spring with always coil around the hanger bolt, rendering it useless after a few months. It also looks really nasty with that huge cage :ermm: £30 is also ridiculous.
  14. Modified Pashleys? Looks ok that, not my kinda thing, but enjoy it :ermm: Be careful of that front tyre, ive got a pair on my 24" race BMX and theyre LETHAL!
  15. Mark, your brakes were horrible at that YMSA!
  16. How long had your PC been on? I think Photoshop writes loads of temp files when its running, which are then deleted when your PC re-boots? And that makes it faster... or something... :S
  17. Haha... pause it just before he does that dropgap :ermm:"
  18. Dont forget the Python also comes in Yao Zhi version, which is nice and short, very similar to the Monty in geometry terms (1005mm wheelbase)... The Monty is comp-orientated, but thats mainly due to the weight and parts. The YZ Python has the same geo (pretty much), but is much beefier, bit heavier, but made of a much better material (U6 rather than 7005). Manuals schmanuals... you can do them on anything once you get used to it (N)
  19. Id say thats about right. Ride both and see which you prefer... its the only way to decide!
  20. Might be a bit bit for mod wheels - I dont think 20mm will fit between the spokes... not 100% sure though...

    A Few Pics.

Id be inclined to say pics like this are better when you can see all the objects, how high they are from the floor, etc... also make sure all of the rider and the bike are in shot. But hey, thats just me. Good job though (N)
