  1. Haha, London's crap to ride when its pissing it down though? Anyway, yeah, I've met a LOT of people (Y) Including lots of MSN stalkers (Y) Too many to count really...
  2. £90 (Y) And not in stock (Y)
  3. http://tartybikes.users.digital-crocus.com...nsileinsert.jpg £6 each, £10 a pair. And yes, you'd have to be a full-on-freak to kill one!
  4. Koxx, standard handlebars/stems = 25.4 Onza T-Pro, Brisa = 28.6 Super Oversize (Echo, Zoo, most Onza) = 31.8 Ads
  5. Or phone and use debit/credit card (Y)
  6. Very useful info here: http://tartybikes.users.digital-crocus.com...product=newhope

    New Hub

http://www.trueprecision.net First version of the hub was 600g+, and had serious problems with blowing up. The new one is better they say...
  9. They wear quickly at the corners - due to the pads rocking a fair bit in the cylinders (this is what causes the good bite ('wedging' of the rim) and loud noise (lots of vibration)). Once the corners had rounded, I found the amount of hold they gave to decrease somewhat, and which meant grinding/cutting them flat again.

    New Hub

Theye pretty poor - its a 'GT hadley' (hubs made by hadley for GT, for use on XC bikes). I'd steer clear of them :ermm:

    New Hub

Im not sure theyre quite that much... I shall find out :ermm: The Hope will come in at approx £120 btw.

    New Hub

Weeelll... if King is out of the question, and gears are a must, how about getting your Hope sent back and fixed for free... and then waiting for the Hope Trials hub to be released? (approx 6-8 weeks). More info and detailed pictures on TartyBikes later today :ermm: Other option would be a Profile - which are still relatively unproven - but have a lot going for them since the design is good. Its very similar to the Hope in a lot of aspects (well, the other way round, since the Profile came first).
  13. Hopefully nothing too serious then :ermm: However, like Mark said, I had wrist problems when I used conventional flat bars. Low-rise risers (Pazzaz Carbon in my case) helped me out - they put your hands/wrists in a more ergonomic position. If you put your arms out horizontally in front of you, and let your hands move to their natural orientation (palms down), they go pretty much flat. They DONT turn so your thumbs point to the floor and your little fingers go into the air - which is what 'Flat' trials bars are trying to do.
  14. What bars are you running Mike?
  15. Options: Wondercups and Middleburns - never seen any problems with wondercups personally, theyre so simple! OR Run 3 piece cranks and a BETD/DMR integrated bashring.
  16. Gotta be a single ply Maxxis? Catch you on MSN... :ermm:
  17. Is the link ripping in half, or is the pin pulling out and the link 'splaying' apart?
  18. http://www.biketrialsur.com/Videos/Videos/itadori94.wmv X-post from OTN... but this video is awesome, I cant believe its 11 years old now (Y) Top tune as well :S Enjoy the lycra
  19. How are you joining it? What drivetrain setup are you using? How old is the chain? How has it been breaking?
  20. It loads the pics from the same links anyway, they only have to load once. Doesn't slow anything down  But yes, it is annoying.
  21. I wouldn't have said 'a lot of the design'... probably more like Paul said. Most ideas are run past us though, and we do have a significant amount of input.
  22. I was kinda meaning DPI... 1mp picture, say its 1000x1000 pixels, and at standard 72DPI thats, what, 13.9 inches. 5mp picture would be 2236x2236 pixels, so for a 13.9" picture, comes out at 160dpi - much better resolution.
