Sounds more like it... it wont cause it to break though :S

From what you're saying, it would cause the tube to crack, not the side plate to fall off. However, the plate is so far from the main stress point (BB shell) that its not an issue. Another thing - why is a tube less 'dangerous' than that plate? None of the old frames failed at the ends of the seat tubes... I'd be more worried about the head tube falling off, however, as we all know, this has not happened on any of the 'new breed' Zoo or Echo frames.
  3. :S" Im running a 205 rotor on mine, you can never have too much power :D
  4. Im pretty sure that requires Adobe After Effects. Probably downloadable...

Indeed, Keith Bontrager decided 29" would be a good idea :P
  6. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showuser=6332 217.42.97.250 That's what i've found anyway - however I may be wrong.
  7. Nothing to worry about in my experience, especially with a decent chain (KMC Kool, KHE Collapse chain) :-
  8. You should have cleaner spanners then :)
  9. Thumbs aren't ideal, simply because the oil in your skin won't do the rotor much good for friction... Adjustable spanner it is
  10. Ah right, shame, they were pretty good. Anyway, back on topic... I cant really comment as i've not used either. But I will say, that neither will work faultlessly on an unground and untarred rim.
  11. You were too late, I still rode them a few times (Y)
  12. Don't forget, I had some of those original ones too Mr Joe...
  13. Might be worth converting that to a .jpg Chris... Ive been told by Mr Maher that these are the best thing ever, however he said that about the red ones... so, like Tom said, any proper reviews?
  14. Crikey, a whole 21g saving! That chain looks scary, haha.
  15. You could always use a £35 BB, which will fit. Seen here. (Note no extra ridge on the left side) The 'Monty' one is essentially the same as the FSA Platinum DH BB, with an extra £20 stuck on the price. Its true that there seems to be some incompatibility between the frames and certain BBs, but its just due to the BB shell being thicker, and therefore stronger.
  16. They aint your average Hot S tyres though... Michelin did factory red Comp24s and soft compound Hot Ss. Hot S look good, and are light. Thats about it  I never had problems with flats, but the sidewalls tear easily.
  17. Yeah the Fournales would have sold for £5-600, if they brought them out. Could always try contacting them, haha.
  18. At the moment it seems unlikely. Rumour has it that these forks, if sold at 'proper' retail, would be something like £10k a set, haha. I think they only made 7 sets (6 stock and one mod), and all the costs for the CNC programming & labour etc totally swamped materials costs. Thats from my somewhat crap brain though, so dont take it as gospel!
  19. Im pretty sure they stopped with them - too expensive.
  20. 1-off Goldtec/Coust carbon forks, yeah.
  21. Not really... some companies test their new stuff properly
  22. I think thats something to do with clearing the freehub body, Mark  Flanges are generally made as small as possible, so the hub is light. Unless you go the other way, and have huge flanges with holes (Am Classic for example).
