  1. Please don't get them  Unless you love your hands being sore as fook, or wear ski gloves to ride in.
  2. ZOOs work the best, but wont last as long as the Plazzies. Spanish Flys... nothing special.
  3. I would go with your feelings here Steve. Its also unfair to others who may be watching the auction (thats my 'standard reply' for these types of things)
  4. You can't do anything about that Phil, unfortunately, apart from over-filling the system (which would be dangerous should the fluid expand)
  5. Thats not quite right, hehe. The Coust is CLAIMED 2kg (4.5lbs) and the Woodstock weighs in at 3.7lbs... so...
  6. I doubt you could really tell from riding it... unless, of course, you normally ride with your brakes backwards "
  7. The only one thats made me even smile - hats off to you sir
  8. As for the wear thing, yeah, I guess a shorter chain would wear/break faster.
  9. :S Nobody would run that gear on a stock bike (for trials anyway)

  12. Sorry, didn't read Matt's first post. Just assumed the pawls would be left in, since theres no reason to take them out...
  13. Nah, it wouldnt, it'd use the pawls. The QR would stop it freewheeling...
  14. Are you looking for trials parts/components? If so, you'll have a hard job finding them at normal bike shops
  15. Sorry Steve, it really wasn't meant in that manner - in fact when I made the post, it hadnt crossed my mind that George was running your pads at Bracken. It was a 'dig' at the hold (well, lack of) of his V-brake. Apologies for that. I 100% agree with this, and it's the reason why I use two accounts. I guess I should shut up then.
  16. Should be fine then, since its the same frame, made from better material, with extra gussets!
  17. Hahaha... Crumpets with Choc Spread... yummy!
  18. Although, its possible for the payment to be stopped. Such a situation would be if the account is shut down within 5 days of making the payment.
  19. Was thinking exactly that first line when I read down the thread... and then Jon's post appeared, haha. The only good test of a brake is to ride some natural. George, I do believe your brake was utter turd when we went to Bracken? It just didnt hold at all  So, in short, I agree with exactly what Jon said B)
