  1. 'The tour is also said to ensure the girls a large paycheck' Shit, really? (Y) I wouldn't have thought that would be the whole idea behind it or anything...
  2. 50g. 408g for the 160, 458g for the 180mm version. Thats for a front, full length hose, and all mounting hardware.
  3. Basically, the grease port is a waste of space. Pop the plastic end cap off (small flat headed screwdriver). Put the pedal axle in a vice (using the flats). 12mm socket wrench to take the locking nut off. Then take off the slotted washer. Then 15mm socket (might not fit - use aforementioned flat bladed screwdriver if this is the case) to remove the cone (its not a tight fit at all). Then the axle etc slides out. Clean everything up. Liberally grease the cups in the pedals, enough to hold the bearings in place when you push them into it. Slide axle back in. Tighten 15mm back down, VERY lightly, so its just touching the bearings. Slotted washer back on. 12mm nut down to lock it all together. May need a bit of iteration to get correct bearing preload (the 12mm nut will tighten the bearings up a little when it's tightened down). I think thats all (Y)

Flip your bike the right way up, take front wheel out. Secure forks so they dont move about. Adjust lever so the reservoir cap is parallel with the ground. Take cap off reservoir. Wrap rag around the lever to catch any spillage. Try again now, using a ring spanner, as directed in your manual.

What are you trying to push your pistons back with?

What exactly are you trying to do? The thing Hope said, thats for when your pistons actually fall out of the caliper. Are you just trying to push the pistons back in order to fit new pads?
  8. No offence, but in that case, it'll probably be rubbish. Trials needs to be filmed by trials riders, or the angles are too crap to see whats going on. I consider good to be... anything thats good to watch... its not rocket science (Y)
  9. My vote goes for: 'Yes I wouldnt mind paying a small charge, as long as the footage is GOOD'
  10. Haha, I hadn't thought of that - awesome (Y) It was a bit of a joke... but really... you have to do things that they actually care about to stop it. Like the community service thing theyre thinking of bringing in - they will HATE walking around in orange suits, because they don't look cool. They couldn't care less about doing a bit of community service. Thats what I reckon anyway.
  11. Its a long way up north though... Check out a YMSA thread. Midlands is much easier to get to... http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=54526
  12. Little vid capture of Damon... (DW@Hulltrials) Not small (Y)
  13. Remove one item of burberry clothing from each shop in the UK for every under-age girl that gets pregnant?
  14. 203mm rotor, on a mod bike... to be fair, any disc would work well at that size on a 20" wheel.
  15. *ding ding ding* winnaarr!! It sucks though - all you have to do is learn how to pass exams. I think revision should be banned :) I did none for mine and came out with 'above average' marks. Same for A Levels. Uni is a bit trickier though, the hoops you have to jump through are a bit smaller :) Should end up with a 2:1 though.

  17. Or use the back/forward buttons on your mouse :P" hehe
  18. The M5 thread (and helicoil) needs a 0.8mm pitch. M6 uses a 1mm pitch. So, you would be able to get a helicoil in there.... well, you will, but it'll be dodgy.
  19. Nobody told me about this shortcut - open in new tab = middle click (click the scroll wheel on the link) - beast! :D It keeps crashing though (Y)
  20. The one on Aspire is gold. Here's my mock up of a gold and a mango for comparison.
  21. Very much so. Theres also some sort of Triathlon Academy Centre here as well, I'll ask my mate about it... and a couple of the members are Olympic standard I think.
  22. Forgot about that... its VERY quiet in summer when all the students go home!
  23. English Cricket Academy, seated sports stadium used for UK events, one of the most advanced artifical water based soccer pitches in the UK, same for hockey, indoor swimming pool with seating area and touch-pad timing system, won the overall BUSA sports champs for... 26 (i think) years in a row, 1st XI football playing in the FA Cup next season, about £40million spent in the last few years, and plenty more i've missed... so its not bad! As for the rest of the place - yep, i'd recommend it.
  24. And hence the reason why Loc-On grips aren't very good... (for trials that is, fine for XC)
