  3. hi everyone, i have been a member for a while now, however i have neglected to post an introduction. so here it is. i enjoy trials and have been riding on and off for about 2 years now. work seems to get it the way but thats just life. when i find the time i will be hooking up with hopefully some of you guy to ride. i live near milton keynes, i know a couple of lads already up that way. well like i said this is just a hello. thanks for your time Adie
  4. hi. i would like some help on how long my steerer tube on a set of forks should be for a xtp short. i will be running a t master stem. i tried a set of monty forks on it that have been cut on the slope but the steerer is 175 at the shortest point and 185on the longest point. it did not look like it was going to take the stem( which i have not got with me to try). before i buy another set of forks i thought i would ask you lot on here. thanks very much Adie
  5. hi or anyone that can get him to msn me about his forks hew has for sale thank very much people
  6. now thats a crack mate. i see the frame has cracked just behind a repair. maybe thats where the 'HEAT TREATMENT' someone mentioned mite of helped. unless u just had a monster fall thanks for the pic
  7. 3 cracks i will need sorting: 1. underneath head tube (important) 2. hairline crack on one of the rear brake mounts (a must i think) 3. sump guard mounting (no so important if i run a bash ring??) this frame has been welded already in the same spot as your mates has so i see it may be a common problem i hope the head tube crack is not common, or at least let your mate no about ti so he can check it out. thanks again
  8. cheers 'ash-kennard' i will keep that in mind buddy. very well explained easily understood. i have lined up a beat up levelboss for a good price.(fingers crossed) i wanted to find out if the repairs would out weight the cost of the beat up frame. thanks for all the posts so far.
  9. hi can you explain a little bit more about heat treatment please mate and why you sya its important cheers
  10. Hi Does anyone know the going rate for welding a cracked frame. I realise that every crack will be different so i am just after people who have had welding work done and have realisetic prices. Also is it worth the hassle etc etc? thanks a lot
  11. i use an onza t raptor stem on my pitbull. it came with a tryall stem but it was to low for me and very hard to get n the back wheel. once i changed it all was much much better. as an older trails rider i did not like hanging over my bars with the low stem, it gave me back ache. with the higher stem it gave me a more natural stance once on the back wheel. i am quite recent to trials only getting my first bike 2 years ago. i don't spend enough time on it due to work. but always find the time to hop on to one ledge or another. SOME OF THE OLD DON'T JUST GIVE UP AFTER THERE 30's
  12. hi i would check out trials-uk.co.uk they always sort me out cheers
  13. i ride with an tensile one and it is dojng fine on my pitbull however the acs is also doing fine on my t master if i had the cahs i would get an eno just cos there sexy haha
  14. good point mate, i am still running my acs on a t master and it has not come loose yet. i just think there is a lot better freewheels out there granted u have to spend a bit more but thats life in the fast lane lol if u can afford vanity parts that are strong then go for the eno everytime
  15. good point mate, i am still running my acs on a t master and it has not come loose yet. i just think there is a lot better freewheels out there granted u have to spend a bit more but thats life in the fast lane lol if u can afford vanity parts that are strong then go for the eno everytime

  17. if u have a bmx wheel knocking around that mite tide u over till u can decide mate, i used one on my t bird for a bit. just another option. of course check that the bmx wheel has the right size axle as u can get 10mm and 14mm
  18. hi, 50 quid is a fair amount for one, i have read a few other threads on this subject and i think if u can spend 50 quid on a free wheel and u like the look of it u will be getting a good one. they start at a fiver on ebay mate, my mod had a 20 quid on eon and it is doing the job

  24. pick up a older t mag or t master they go for about 150 look on ebay or on here my sons now rides an old t master thats got battle wounds but he loves it most other mod bikes start to get expensive and hard to find a goos cheap one.
  25. be carefull with changing or choosing a front freewheel as u mite not be able top fit a bash ring if your bb is not long enough. i run a front freewheel on my zoo pitbull amnd it does seem more responsive that the onza t raptor(rear free wheel) that mite be simply down to the zoo being a better bike are u talking about a stock bike by the way? thats what i have answered on cheers
