  2. clickety click! im quite proud of this one actually. didnt think id be up to some of the stuff i did. thats what a full week of 9-5 does to the brain! shame there arent any pictures of my shins! haha. comment it if your a myspace user! and if your not, feedback would be appreciated! cheers alannnn
  3. im 16, nearly 17 so yeah not voting or paying tax just yet.... but i understand how the private skate park could screw it all up, but they dont let stock bikes in and its an arse on getting a mod bike in, you have to proper lick some arse. and when you go in there its shit and all you do is ride. yeah riding is good and stuff. but i like to sit and chill instead of constantly ride to get my moneysworth out of the huge 2 hours i paid 4 quid for... well yeah... and theres no way you will get a freeriding bike in there lol.
  4. thanks for the replies. do you reckon i should write about the bike trials sport etc so they understand what it is before they tell us to f**k off to the local in-door park which dont let us in half the time and costs £4 for 2 hours? obviously there aint enough trials riders in the area for just a strictly trials place but theres enough freeriders and street riders and skaters and stuff i reckon to win them over, and yeah thanks for the advise for getting some parents etc to sign also, i will go down to the local kids playground which is our main riding spot and ask some parents to sign. and get some mates parents, mates mates etc. thanks again
  5. well basically i have spoke to a few people now and we are all serious about making a petition for an open air skate park in our town, after being moved on from all the half decent spots tonight and being seen as nuicences by the older folk etc. i have already got a fair few people who say they will sign. and im gonna pop into the local schools maybe and get some signatures from there. just wondering who do i adress it to? local MP? and how would i word it? and how could i be sure that they dont just put some concrete and put a shitty pre-fab metal half pipe that will be total gash. everyone i spoke to said a concrete one would be lush thats skaters, trials riders, street riders, free riders, bmxer and in liner. basically all help and views would be appreciated cheers dudes and dudettes alan
  6. exactly! i see where your coming from. when i used to have my vinco i used to find riding a tad boring because all i could do on it was trials, now i have my base i can spin it and do alsorts of weird and wacky flat ground stuff etc. i love x-ups and crankflips and manuals from the bmx side of things, yet i love side hops (now i have learnt how to do them ) and i love to ride skate parks, specially concrete open air ones, they are lush! Alan
  7. haha that did make me chuckle a bit "ass me on msn" haha cant wait till you get it all done. we shall be riding all the time
  8. yeah. may consider one of them when the mod comes along
  9. that trailer was what got me into trials! used to be www.miketrials.com or something similar. we used to go on that at school in year 8 all them years ago! EDIT: im sure its the same video, desmod lee film. but it says nothing of mike bentham..... the one i seen was mike bentham riding the old brisa b26
  10. if its an allen key bolt on the rear axle, like a dome shaped one, then you can just use a hacksaw to put a nice groove into it, then whack a screw driver in it to twist it off. the dome headed bolts on them are shit! i got rid of them straight away and replaced them with stronger ones
  11. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=11034 will that one fit a mod? thanks alan
  12. how gay is it! he wouldnt go near a rail, and i was addicted..... then i had that umm....accident at northallerton, hes going at every rail and i shit myself every time i see one damn you affleck!!!!! love you EDIT: nice to see im in your signature matty
  13. echo supatrial.... old school that bike looks so lush, looks like it rides just as lush as it looks
  14. hey. welcome to the forum. i'm from redcar. down near middlesbrough but i am wanting to ride newcastle quite badly although i never have the money nowdays. fancy a ride in the near future?
  15. it looks fine to me, + i dont think tarty would have a picture with the wrong fitting. do you mean you dont know how to put it together with your cylinders/lever?
  16. after getting my vinco with bb rise stolen, and building up an old school type base, i find riding so much more fun. i could gap further, side hop higher etc on the vinco but i can bunny hop and manual, crankflip and x up the base. back on topic.... the 26ghz was a frame i really wanted for a while(after seeing tim steadmans at tykes). steel too so its uber strong but gorgeous very nice frame. post pictures when you got it built.
  17. i wouldnt have thought that the splitter would make much of a difference, the normal cross over would last longer i think, and if they're not moving at the same time, as soon as 1 pad touches the rim, the other one moves in aswell. honestly dont think there would be much difference. and the splitter i reckon is just another thing to snap. keep it simple......less things go snap imo!
  18. i'm with him. purple frame and gold components. PIMP. or.... you could strip the paint and clear coat so it looks brushed that would also look hot
  19. north korea is communist isnt it? maybe revenge from the korean war....vietnam etc does it have any allies?

  21. tiapon yaky (sp) japanese food thing uuuuh so nice. makes me feel hungry thinking about it now
  22. hey. i can get down there. i shall be home in 3 weeks so i will come down for a ride and probably bring some others up too rode there at the start of the year and im dying to go back backause i have improved and i want to get a couple of the gaps to rail done.
  23. the stem doesnt look very strong on it to me. what spec is yours?
  24. i would recomend the DMR revolver also. the single speed one only though as the cassette hubs have weak axles. i have been giving mine a load of hammer for the last 4 months and its great. got an ACS claw on it and it has never skipped, has more engagements than my old xc and to be honest, i'd trust it more than my old xc (had 2, 1 cracked open from flange to flange). revolvers arent expensive either you will need to get one of these and one of these. if you are wanting one for your mod, any bmx hub will work, just grind down the axle so it fits in the dropouts few mates have done it and thy work fine.
