  8. hey you do realise this is going to get closed. but quick question is the 20" frame as weak as the 26"?
  9. Hey all Basically as it says in the title i'm starting up my own business and i need your help. Basically i am torn between setting up a market stall (presuming i get the go ahead from the council, still haven't replied after two letters ) Or an ebay shop. I have a supplier ready and there necessary funds to do either. I will be selling xbox, ps2 and psp games. I was thinking a market stall as there is a definite market for a games shop, whereas ebay has a shed load of game shops Any thoughts? Cheers
  10. I heard that. I reckon you should have just gone for crash replacement, Welding it is just pro-longing the inevitable.
  11. i would personally go for echo, i have heard that tensile cranks will felx a lot as you have said and are a lot weaker than echos, if you have the money then you may as well go for echo. I need to make this decision soon as i may be changing my onza cranks
  12. how much wood can a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
  13. the super harsh bar snap is in "vintage videos" and it's right at the bottom called "tim bails", except he doesn't so much bail as slam
  14. don't mean to sound like a tit but pretty much all the suggestions here are going to be pretty dodgy to explain if the pikeys go to the poilce, which they will. As much as i love my bike and don't want to see it half inched you have to go about defending it in a certain way so as when you do kick their head in or whatever it will seem like self defence. Basically the law says you can defend your property using reasonable force. so make sure they go for you first, then lay shit into them. That way you can say it was all self defence as you were protecting your property. plus if you use a weapon make sure it is something bike related, such as a crank arm or something along those lines. The law sucks, when we were broken into about 5 /6 years a go, we had a row of small nails on top of our gate and the police told us that if the burglars were to complain about injuring their selves on the nails they would win the case. cheers
  15. yeah you took the pee at the end of one of my topics, and in another topic on side hopping techniques I remember "you" said and i quote "sidehopping is funny hahahahahahahaha" My mate's account was hacked into and they did a lot worse believe me.
  16. I have had this problem a lot on my louise. If you undo the bolts on the caliper then hold the lever when you redo them this should re-align the brake completetly thus stopping the rubbing (theoretically ) It has worked for me on a couple of occasions. I don't mean to steal your topic but how do you adjust the modulation on the louise and do they all come with a plastic lever? cheers
  17. Are you sure you don't need to space your mech out? because that is what usually causes the problems with wide kmc's.
  18. Awesome vid mike i really enjoyed that. Everything just seemed to work well, i.e the riding and complete silence did it for me. Loved the camera sweeps as well good job
  19. I would personally recommend Coust pads. For hold and bite they are incredible, not sure about longitivity as i have only had them about a week or so, but i am running them on a soft but sharp grind if that makes sense
  20. Hey My opinion is run Coust material. Awesome stuff. Had mine about a week, maybe longer but the hold is incredible, like no other. I'm running them on a light but sharp grind and they are working fantastic. Also I know it's not about the sound but they are loud and sound sweet.
  21. Thanks all. As much as i don't want to damage my frame it's inevitably going to happen and after riding today i just want to have fun and keep on learning new stuff, if the frame goes it goes.
  22. In all fairness this is not a pathetic forum, i think the validation process is a well thought up design. I mean look at it this way. If trials forum let everyone who registered straight into the members chat then the place would be full of crap, and people just messing about. we have all seen our fair share of idiots on this site who just sign up to take the piss and if everyone like that got through then the forum would go to pot dan
