  1. Last year my brother was the only person in the area i live with a trial bike then just now there are about 7 riders in westhill also i think that more of my friends are wanting to start it. So it is deffinately growing but jut not that fast, as someone said before they do cost quite alot of money to buy one. Also even when people do see you doing stuff some of them may like it but dont have a clue where to get one or what they are even called Ewan
  2. Why do you need to start a topic to see how far other people can gap just watch videos, some people can gap up to 9ft flat to flat Ewan
  3. What is so different in the bb7 that makes it so much better than a 5, why do you need an excellent brake for the front anyway, bb5 will hold your weight fine
  4. Why get 7 when you can get 5 which is jsut as good Just had a ride of my mates zoo python which has the avid juicy bb5, works AMAZING, I would reccomment that over the 7 Ewan
  5. In the dry the creepy crawlers are just as good at gripping and i have never had a puncture in my tyre with them yet so i presonally wouldnt bother paying £20 for try-all hope this helped Ewan
  6. Yes they are softer, just stick with the creepy crawlers to be honest, grip is good and they dont wear down THAT fast. Although i have never tried the monty, i think they are good at grip but not sure about wear life cheers Ewan
  7. That is still pretty amazing though, keep it up
  8. is anybody running a grind and not zoo pads with these rims?
  9. Does anybody know if the echo 2005 mod rims are any good, I have heard that they are quite strong, light and also very cheap but im not sure if they are good at braking. As All brake pads on my onza hog rim at the moment dont work well compared to everybody elses when i have thew same pads. Even when i have a even harsher grind than them. Just so you know i would not reccommend the Onza hog rims as they arent the strongest and not many brake pads work well on them. eg - majic pads -they have all worked extremely well on rims like the ronnies or try-all rims but then put them on onza's then people dont think they work as well thanks in advance Ewan
  10. My brothers just arrived yesterday in all white, looks good but hes still got to get it built up though
  11. Pretty cool looking bike, blue suits it what pads are you running on that back?
  12. It's nothing to do with your pads at all, it's your flame flexing, try pulling your brake hard then watch the frame around your brake area and it will probably be moving So you need to buy a brake booster to stop the flex, hope i helped
  13. I use about 15, maybe a bit less and i have never had a puncture yet after 5 months of riding
  14. what sort of compounds do you need to make a brake pads anyway, plastic is the only main thing i know of
  15. I heard that the tensile bubblegum pads were quite poor
  16. Well i have tried one of my mates GU typhoon and I absolutely loved it, he has the long version and found that to do backhops you didnt need much effort to keep it up. It isn't heavy either Overall i would recommend it, if i had the money im sure i would buy one right now
  17. LOADS of people think the Ronnies are by far the best rims, also my brother has them, they look good
  18. I dont understand what we have to do
  19. The more money you put into the parts you buy the longer they will last, middleburn cranks cost about £140 but will last you atleast 2 years
  20. majic pads are ok with a grind i suppose, wear down fast though, mine have almostly completely gone after 1 month of using it on a grind thats not quite harsh but not light either
  21. I tend to stick my tounge out a bit then after it i realise what a twat i looked like while doing it, but i have seen worse....
  22. well you have done 28 posts in over half a year, try and post more
