Hi everyone Want to ask if anyone knows if I can buy VINCO Derangboy frame anywhere. I really prefer high BB bikes, my cousin used to ride a Derangboy (longer than the Excessboy) and I loved it. Perfect frame for me. Sidehopped and hooked a bit higher than I can on my GU TP. http://www.k-124house.com/TRIAL//Koxx/HDDB434b60aca03a9 ^This is the Excessboy, it is the short frame. I want the Derangboy which is the longer version. Does anyone know any online shop that still might sell it? I don't mind if it is a UK, European, US, Canadian, Australian shop. So long as some one has in stock, I would like to purchase it! I think that the Excessboy wheelbase is too short for such a high BB bike... 1065 wb with +80... !! Too cramped cockpit for such a high bike. Agreed? Thanks

Hi, I found this on the internet. Looks like nice replacement for Profile/CK. Designed for BMX, seems like the best cassette hub at the moment. Now available with new 10mm axle, 36h, 10t drivers and above. Discuss?

Hello just wanted to know whos having this problem before? the single weld on downtube cracked after a long time riding... happened to 5 of my friends' Deng frames... is it a weak design? I seem to remember old Echo frames and Onza frames always had a gusset attached under the downtube mounting stub. ANyone got any pictures of their failed frames? thanks

2006 Zoo! Pitbull... Any Reviews Or Info?
Akira_Shock! replied to Akira_Shock!'s topic in Trials Chat
Really? What was so bad about it? Also does anyone know the online measurements for this frame? I think it came in 2 lengths also? Compare this to other high BB frame, how is it? Like GU Typhoon 06/07 and Echo HIFI? -

is that the actual python that CLS rode in those old zoo vids? Id have thought it be dead by now, obviously not. How much different is it to a normal 04 python? looks liek the geo is a bit shorter at the front and that booster looks pretty unique compared to every single other 04/05/06 python ive seen. did you grind the bashguard mounts off or did it come like that? lol i thought the python in the 'classic retro 2004 python' topic by danny kearns was the actual 'proto' that cls rode... impressive how long its lasted. considering how frames like that MBK mod died in like 2 months

lookin' good who's the current owner now then? Who cut the bashmounts off? looks very neatly done anyone got pics of its downtube or any other angles? i'd like to see how much abuse its taken over the years

Got sent this by some american rider... just passing the word, some people may be interested to know that deng didnt know exactly what he was doing back in 06; not trying to echo down, because it is the best brand currently for trials bikes. Strong and good value for money... but just got a bit shocked that deng admits his echo headtubes were dodgy, this kinda means a bad thing for Kobikes frames too... since that is a simple copy frame being honest..even if it has that stupid bit long gusset,... too much weight concentrated at front= not ideal.
-
Echo team 2006 and Hifi frames are basically labeled as 'dodge' by the creator. Kinda means Kobikes km1 is dodge too... should have looked into design better instead of asking rider-engineers for help! And deng admits Czar was a blatant copy. good on him

Hey, just wondering how you'd go about stopping them from coming loose? After a bit of riding, you'd feel the faintest bit of creak/wobble, and when you go to tighten the crankbolts they are very loosened off....! Currently there is no copper grease on the ISIS splines, nor is there any loctite on the crankbolt threads. Would these two factors completely stop the self-loosening of the cranks/bolts? Mind you, when removing the cranks with a crank removal tool, it doesn't even take all that much strength like it would it square taper cranks for example, to pull off the crank arm. This is normal or not? This is for a new set of ISIS cranks, by the way, with Echo crank bolts (maybe they aren't as good as 'usual' ISIS crankbolts?) in the massive size for the super-hollowed out ISIS axles. Thanks!

Street On A Python... Real Street (bmxy Stuff)
Akira_Shock! replied to Akira_Shock!'s topic in Trials Chat
that was sick, but still not totally impressed.. someone do it on a Python! reason i specifically want to see it done on a long python is because it's dammmn long. Doing it on a 'long' Echo, Czar, GU, Adamant, Onza, Koxx, whatever... isn't the same because they aren't as long. Whole point is to see someone do it on the hardest mod possible -

Haha i said in my first post I wasn't really after recommendations to see shorter mods do that stuff, cos i know its doable on them. No, i dont want to get anything, i just want to see if 24" and BMX style has been done on a long python. the whole point of this topic is to see if people can do it on the longest mod. so c'mon, i bet there is some crazy russian or east european dude who can do 360 bmx style bunnies, manuals on a python. Id love to see how Marco Groesnik gets on with a python. -
the new ZM2B has a disc mount in one of the pics... and also the Z1 and Z2 2008s have disc mounts too...

Street On A Python... Real Street (bmxy Stuff)

that vid was quite cool. liked the spinny combos on the czar. Yeah the thing is though that on a Zona and Czar its different because the stays are shorter than on a Python, albeit by 5-10mm or so, it makes all that difference. Pythons are notorious for being excessively long and barge-like, so i was wondering if people who rode specifically those frames could pull off those kinds of spinny things well. dan what geo stem you running on your Zona? is it the old geo echo team stem before they chagned it to 160x25? any spacers? -
Just wondered about this for a while if anyone's been able to decently pull off street on a long python. I see riders like marco groesnik in those latest german vids doing stuff like huge bunnyhops, snappy spins, tweaks, box jumps, manuals and all that. I realise the bike he uses (Hydroxx and Hoesel XTP) are quite short, but still does anyone pull this stuff on a python? My definition and the real definition for 'street' for RIDING as a whole (unicycle and mountain bike recognise this as well) is stuff like what BMX does. What we're doign with normal trials (sidehops, gaps, drops) in town and stuff is better classified as URBAN riding, rather than street. So yeah, i don't really couldn't care less if someone says :"oh pythons are for TGS, if u wanna do street just get a shorter bike". No thats not my question, i'm after any vids of people doing the 24" or BMX style on a Python. nothing more nothing less. Are any people well known for doing streety street on long mods? cheers
