It depends on the rim really, i have noticed the difference between strength's when i have ran drilled and none drilled. Like with the ronnie rim it only has very small holes but with a try-all rim and echo 2006 they ahve rather large holes. So it depends really. Dan.

well now that you have your frame, headset and bashplate. You should now look at a bottom bracket and forks, bar and stem. I would recommend a fsa platinum pro dh bottom bracket, Also echo lite forks and zoo bars and echo team stem. All can be purchased from tartybikes apart from the bottombracket but i am sure chain reaction cycles sell the bottom bracket. As for drilled rims, it is you rchoice on if you want a light bike or a strong bike. Strong bike - no light bike - yes. Dan.

Hey up matey, I bet you are abit confused but most of us were like that at one point. So take a look around and see what you like. I would recommend a t-pro or a zona zip, great bikes. The zona is alot stronger than the t-pro but meh you r a learner so that does not really matter. As for a t-vee or a t-bird, would recommend a t-bird out of them two. Reason being t-birds come with a 19" backwheel and magura hs33's and overall a nicer looking. When i rode a mates t-vee for a week because i wanted try a short bike out for a bit and they are absolutely horrible, i could not even sidehop 20" on it. So there you go, take your pick, at the end of the day mate its your choice you have got ride the damn thing. Dan.

It's all to do with my ankle, i had my plaster off and i had physio therapy and i was informed that i was not able to do any sports apart from swimming and walking for 6 weeks but if it feels strong enough by the time of the ride and still isn't aching, i will see have to see can do, but no promises.
