Stock is actually easier to sidehop as i have found when i have recently moved to stock. I think on off sidehops do count, because the due fact that you have actually made the height and your tucking your bollox off to keep on top of the wall shows that you are pushing your self as far as you can go which is what i like to see. I PERSONALLY think they look good but meh. Its just like saying, "oh you tapped that wall and slipped down but your bashplate/bashring/frame didn't touch the wall and you just dragged the wheel over in stead of keeping it straight on the backwheel.
