To be perfectly honest with you. I actually struggled to understand and read that. From what i gathered. You are explaining that you need to un-weld your frame in order to set the brake up square to the rim and this is to be done with an allen key fitted into a machine ? If so. Go see your local GP for a brain scan. Danny.

Excuse me ? You do what ? . Melting tar onto your rim isnt the best idea. A dab is only necessary for that extra bit of bite. To be perfectly honest, if you have a decent grind on your rim, a decent set of pads, a decent bleed in your brake and the pads are set up hitting the rim square and both at the same time there should be no need for any tar. As for the olive oil and WD40. God forbid how your brake even works. So buddy. Ignore the guy above. DO NOT melt tar on to your rim, a dab of tar is only necessary. As for WD40 and olive oil......Well don't even entertain it, your brake will be a nightmare and a disaster. Danny.

There is also alot to take into account. - Correct Grammar and Punctuation is vital in order for you to get validated. - Being helpful and not posting shit topic's like "What is the best brake pads ?". That will not get you anywhere. There is a pad review section for that. - Do not be rude or aggressive towards other member of the forum. - Obey the rules by not posting porn and irrelevant things. - Do not use "txt tlk". You will not be validated ever if you do. There is no need for any knowledge of trials to get validated on this forum. Just be helpful, watch your language and be friendly and help out best you can. Firstly a massive welcome to Trials Forum and the Trials world. I hope you enjoy your stay and enjoy riding. Now you mentioned you had a Echo control 2006 for your first bike. Very good choice . Now a few things for you to remember: 1 - Trials is an expensive sport so be prepared to put alot of money in to it. 2 - Make sure your committed to your riding so that you improve quickly. 3 - Also, you can't sit in a classroom 9am till 5pm and learn how to ride trials, it's a matter of getting out there and practicing. You will also learn from bails and stuff. 4 - Watching trials video's of other riders or riding with your friends and watching them ride helps alot to. Because you are able to see what they do and there technique etc. 5 - Finally. Enjoy trials, it's not all about being the best. Just get out there with your friends and have a laugh. Also. Before going crazy on posting. Read the forum guidelines. Remember, correct use of Spelling and Grammar helps alot when coming to get validated. Be helpful. Don't post useless topics and also don't reply in threads that are silly. All in all. Enjoy your stay . Peace out. Danny.
