Bought a pair of Mavic 719's off the Bay and only just realised after talking to Tom, how thin they are! Got a 2.5 High roller on the back, coming from DM24's am I going to notice shitloads of fold in the tyres when I spin/pivot? If so there's no point me building them up and I'll have to look for something bigger for the back. Although saying that my back tyres f**ked so could go slightly thinner (2.3 Factory DH). Must say the weight and asthetics are pretty pleasing though! HELP!

Straddle cable from one arm, ROUND the seat tube top the other arm and connect brake cable in front of the seat tube. Kool stop salmons are good for chrome, dunno about plain ally though. www.bikeguide.org are pretty handy to talk to, verging on anorak at times

I'll bet my left knacker that it's the teeth that are too short I fail to believe you have to ride a slipping chain until it "beds in" to the sprocket, just seems slack as f**k for how much money some of these bikes cost. I'm going for one of the cheap singlespeed kit's off ebay for mine as you get 16t and 18t cogs whereas the DMR just comes with 16t. Surly ones are nice but I'm a cheap fanny and cant justify spending £20 on a cog, even though it would be a better fit for my chain (wider teeth).

I rode BMX for ages and I'd have thought a mod would have suited me better but I ride a stock (albeit a very short one) and it feels a lot more natural/comfortable than any mod I've rode.

How well does the chain mesh into your freewheel/cog because I've just fitted a 1/8 Kool and it's skipping on the rear due to it not sitting deep enough into the sprocket. Need to get me a proper SS cog

Well get Panda or any other decent firewall and it won't let the downloader connect to T3h T1|\|t3r\/\/3B therefore solving your problem. Also the firewall will tell you what programs want to connect, this means you can find the bitch and delete it

I've had a kool chain on my bmx from the first month they came out and bar a bit of rust its still running shit hot despite many knocks from copings and concrete

I ride some cheapass Roox DH/Riser bars and find them a lot more comfortable than your average trials bar because they dont angle up at the grips and they have a slight bit of backsweep, my wrists love me for using them
