Fair enough if nothing came up when you searched but i was just saying that i'm 100% definate that this topic HAS been made before as i remember posting in it and i dont really see the point of this topic BUT thats just my opinion. So go ahead and enjoy the replies

I totaly understand it all and i know why the rules are there and i think the validation scheme is a good idea but it doesn't stop it being annoying sometimes

I do think that having to be validated before you can use the rest of the site can be very annoying at times, especially when there is a part going cheap but you cant buy it due to the rules of validation & people get validated after being a member for 1 month, and a year on and still waiting but i guese you just have to be patient, try and be as helpful as possible to other members, and i do agree with padarik that making this topic has not helped you.

I agree this topic has been posted recently & so has the one "how much have you spent on your bike" which i do think are pointless topics.

i know the feeling recently got my new wheel build costing just over £150 then today at the clacton ride my bike developes a really bad crunching sound of bearing's and my cranks will spin backwards like half a turn then stop i'l investergate the prob tomorow cant be arsed now

I have spent around £850 inc my recent new rear wheel costing £150. So too much

im probably not the best at describing this but when i done mine recently for the first time i held the grinder so that the disc was nearly flat on the rim just to take the paint of, once the colour was all off the rim i then held it at a 40 degree angle and pushed slightly on the grinder and went round the rim. probably completly wrong but its worked for me

Im the same i hate onza parts the quality isn't all that but atleast they dont charge stupid money for there parts and i am using onza shin dig pedals and onza hog rim. but hay i still hate onza & mission

Good good glad to hear you enjoyed it, yea i was soaked too, i have a puddle of water on the floor where my bike is standing, weather definatly wern't good but it didn't beat the determination of us trials riders :thumbsup: bring back the sunshine i dont think anyone got any pics or vids of the ride? because of the weather which is a shame. any riders that came today if you have some pics or vid then please upload here.CHEERS

Just got in from the ride, i was suprised at how many people came considering the weather. a few decided to go off somewhere but around 10 of us stayed together chai showing us all how it should be done and most of us were still riding even though it was hammering down and we was all soked all in all i enjoyed my self and i hope you guys did too and thanks to you all for showing up. will have to arange another ride in the summer. (by the way im the one with the GU with gold rear rim)

right well i'l see who ever is coming by train at 9:30 ish then @ the trainstation. ride maybe the skatepark, bit of street stuff in town and along the beach walls rocks ect. just finished preping my bike for tomorow so im all set Just hoping that a miracle is going to happen and it wont rain tomorow yea im here ready

I have recently got the echo 07 rim and i cant fault it. It feels super strong and looks nice too.

Hi is anyone going to bring a camera or camcorder, It would be nice to make a little vid afterwards? I have a mini camcorder but its a bit crap Im not that good, really and yea i bet someone will show most of us how its really done lol

It's personal preferance really but i prefer magura's mainly because there are sooo many brake pad options where as disc only seem to have a few differant compound pads. but then my mate runs magura clara disc on the rear and thinks its awesome because when he does a comp where its seriously muddy it doesn't matter if the rim gets bogged in mud the brake still works. Your choice

personaly i think they would not give out asbo's just because we are riding on things that we are not ment to.ASBO's are more for people that cause criminal damage to property, constantly in fights and being neighbours from hell basically "I think"
