Providing the weather is alright it will be going ahead as planned... I will update this post with the time and exact place to meet as well as a rough figure on how many people are going to be turning up. Any suggestions on what time to meet? i think i get you. Have you tried the one where you lick your finger and draw a time on your forehead (whichever way around and whichever way makes the most sense) and then go to sleep... when ive tried it i usually wake up at the time i drew which was kinda weird...
-
Anyone get dreams where say for example, there is a bomb or something and the timer is going down... 3, 2, 1 and as soon as it hits zero you wake up because your alarm clock has just gone off. Does this mean that your body has like an on board clock that builds the dream around the time you want yourself to wake up or does your brain hear the alarm going off and quickly create something in your head which leads to you waking up and thinking... oh its only just gone off, if you see what i mean

lol, yes that is a really big gear arm, not to mention loud whenever i do any drops. Il get round to a new tensioner sometime soon By the way, in the third picture down, middle left that jagged black line isn't a crack. I just noticed it on the picture and checked on the bike... luckily it was only some grease

Bit of a bump and sorry if anyones already posted this, but im quite tired and i cant be bothered to search, but i just checked out evans cycles and i found some new saracen trials bikes? http://www.evanscycles.com/dept.jsp?dept_i...subdept_id=4092 The saracen Flea bikes are the ones i noticed? Whats going on with them? I have been running Truvativ Hussefelts for 1 and a half years on the same Truvativ bottom bracket and its still perfectly fine, just a mashed up crank arm and bashgaurd from getting up walls. There is nothing wrong with them at all and for £50 i think they are pretty good value for money.

Hi, i was just looking around on the internet and noticed that you could get different colours of Chris king classic hubs (i only thought classic came in black and silver) Now my bike has a red front hub, black spokes and a red rim. My rear is a black Chris king classic with black spokes and a red rim. Just wondering whether you can buy the coloured shells for them. The piece with the spoke flanges on. Or would i have to buy a whole new hub Thanks Dan

yeah, same and i would have if the European launch wasn't pushed back until march...

Anyone on here getting a Playstation 3 or already has one on order? They are all sold out in japan, and unless you wanna wait until march it looks like ebays your best bet! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PS3-playstation-3-60...tem290048438367 Looks like we are in for a repeat of the xbox360 on ebay... I think il give ebay a miss until march

Thankyou! someone gets what i mean Thats a possibility, if we could find someone to do it for relatively cheap but in that case wouldnt it be easier to just cut off the mounts and weld on 4 bolt mounts (not sure where to get the actualy frame mounts from) exactly! If we do end up doing it il post a new topic of il add to ths one with pics
-
ok, well the point of making a chopper type bike was to have a large fat rear wheel, and a mod wheel works perfectly, now if we got a bmx wheel that would involve buying a new wheel and trying to get one as wide as the mod wheel which i already had. it would cost more money and the whole point of this was to spend as little as possible. Ok thanks, thats the kinda response we were looking for
-
look, we know its trials wheel. we didn't post on here to get people telling us why the evo mounts wont work when we have absolutely no intention of using them... We posted on here to get peoples views on out idea for mounting maguras onto the frame...NOTHING ELSE jeeeeez
-
ok ok, lets just say it in a different way to avoid argument we dont want to use evo mounts regardless of wether they work or dont work. Hmm that might be why, well it doesnt work. the main reason of this topic is to see if the design we thought of would work or not and reasons why it would/wouldnt
-
well the frame was cheap, they probably put the mounts in the wrong place, i dont know but it doesnt work end of story.
-
DEAR f**kING GOD WHEN I SAY THE EVO MOUNTS DO NOT WORK I MEAN THEY DO NOT WORK. NORMAL WAY AROUND - NO UPSIDE DOWN - NO SIDEWAYS - NO No your right, the frame was £20 The idea is to basically run the maguras in the exact same was as with 4 bolt mounts but instead of the threaded end of the bolt being screwed into the frame it comes out the other side of the frame and we screw a big nut on the end.
-
evo mounts dont work with the v-brake mounts
-
Hi guys just a quick question Me and my mate have just got a cheap bmx frame and we are going to put 26" forks on it and just make a chopper type bike and we were thinking about how we could use magura rim brakes on the rear. seeing as the bmx frame has no hydraulic mounts and for some reason the v-brake mounts wont work with the magura v-brake adaptors. we thought about drilling 4 holes on the chainstays on the frame...2 on each side, then putting bolts through the holes and through magura mounts with a nut on 1 side. obviously we would have to line it all up correctly but other than that is there any particular reason why this wouldnt work? Thanks Dan

In a word...UBER Im confused, what happened to the adamant Craves video 4

I think the main problem is so many people have broke mad frames in the past...(me included, 1 snapped, 1 cracked and the third is in my cubaord ) And i for 1 wouldnt trust that new one as far as i could throw it...which isnt very far. Well i hope the magura mounts on the frame will be in the correct place this time. On my team urban frame this is what they looked like. The black at the top is the tyre, grey is the rim...you get the idea. anyway the green squares are at the lowest point that my maguras will go before i start to angle them downwards. The red squares show how far up i can run my maguras...so i can use my sidewall as a braking surface To be honest i was ashamed to own it. every single one of them. The brake mounts look like they have been attached by a 7 year old girl high on laughing gas. I can safely say that i would never buy another saracen / mad again. My honest advice...give up or make a £1000 base model bike with a decent spec and a very well made frame, i think a lot more people would buy them if they had drilled rims etc as standard.
