none of it was required? then why ask us to get it (i know what you mean ) we tried to get all we could, but when you left and started the slander, we kind of lost the trials world input - all we were left with was as you said, a list of materials. nevermind though, its still only plans.
-
cant appologise enough for the first event, danny butler had double booked and craig lee scott refused to come the day before. this new event is no deffinate yet, if we get enough assistance then it should happen, having said that our plan is to hold this new event indoors so the rain cant stop it even in summer, and hopefully we will have a week or so of building so pics of the course should be up a good few days before the actual comp. thanks for the info clean, i think really we havent considered all that we should. we were just working on the information and instructions that biff had given us when he was part of the company. if it does go ahead, it will work great, we learnt from the previous mistakes.

Biff is best for explaining the comp layout, to be honest, im a complete noob to trials i think it was compared to 'hop-idol' somwhere along the line. glad you can make the meeting biff i wont be there saturday, ive got other business to be sorting out, but ill be there early on sunday morning. ah yes, and where it says on the 'outdoor comp...' topic about the band with no name, they arent to be confused with the band called 'the band with no name'. this band really didnt have a name at the time of writing up the info, theyve undergone alot of changes over the last year, but theyve finally got a name now 'Latent Heat'.

if anyone feels like it, they can copy this info to the 'outdoors comp....' topic in the chat forum, i dont have the privelidge to go there yet. The comp will be based on three catagories of skill, each will have their own rounds and each round will be judged based on style. several riders will be riding at a time while the judges, judge your style as for people who sent off their applications, ive got them all, i really should have replied but i didnt think about that with so much going on, on the day however the chances are that you will have to give over details again, alot of people are planning on entering on the day anyway, instead of applying by email or post. see you guys on the day! (if you come! )

dude i dont want to start an arguement here, but your the only one to slag of the advert, everyone else is content with it. youve got the pros and the ideas etc please just dont take the credit for the rest of the event, thats all we want, we just want the credit where its due, just a bit tired of so many places saying 'biff has organised and is hosting' etc. but thats not the real point, itll be a good day, just make sure your there see you all on the day.
-
hey enter into intermmediate or novice if you dont think much of your skills! i wont judge you lol, never seen you ride! but basically young enterprise was open to anyone in sixth form, so we kinda commandeered it and set it onto a trials event. but come if you can, the more the merrier! (my what a queer cliché)

seriously biff, your willing to take credit for all of it but the advert? you really should just take it all if you want. the advert is in the latest MBUK, somewhere round the middle, big black half page thing. yea its pay on the day, ive gotten all of you guys who've entered so far sorted, all you need to do is pay at the gate now as for sorting accomodation, im really sorry but i doubt we can organise anything, its our first shot at this and im not sure we can take on board any more responsibilities. if you email me though, i can try and find some hotel details for you, it might take a few days but there are plenty of cheap places in doncaster.
-
quick note, since interact posted it on the event details in the other part of the forum, the event isnt just being run by biff, he is part of a company who in turn are running the event. just wanted to clear that up, dont want people loosing out on credit!
-
the website isnt completely comprehensive yet, i keep forgetting to add prices, but its at http://www.cycology.inertia3.com entry fee is £10 spectators fee is £4
-
membership wont be started until after this event, we will need to guage the success of the event and see if setting up membership would be worthwhile. as for the little uns, ill let biff answer, thats not my scene!
-
ha ok biff ill try get on msn just for you we've done a forcast of income for worst case and best case scenarios, if its bad, we wont loose too much, if its good, we will cover all costs easily. anywhere in the middle is good, but our real aim is to have a good event and worry about funds after. the gig will be a laugh, want a clown? i can look into a clown, random but it might attract those few other clown appreciators. the course must be good then! especially if your helping with the design biff!
-
hey pitbull i need to talk to you so start replying on msn! hehe! should be a good day, biff hasnt mentioned this yet but there will be a post-comp gig in doncaster town center that evening for those of you who will still be around, since we're using a schools land we cant really drink there. so the gig should be a good way to end the day. there will be more info on the gig on the website soon, that part needs to be finalised. great to see so much interest!
-
ha! i like the sounds, ill try putting the idea forward for mini games, we are a weird bunch - im sure someone will want to try it! there are at least 4 bands playing on the day, could be more, but once we leave that place there is gonna be a post-event gig at a place in the town center. since we cant have alcohol at the event, we might aswell get it afterwards! further news, MBUK expressed an interest in running a short article on the event, but thats no definate at the moment, just another prospect in the air. and also, unless biff is going a bit psychotic, theres the chance of craig lee scott judging the event. all systems go at the moment, just got to pull the day off now, gonna be a long day - i think we'll be cracking open the pro-plus!
-
In case anyone (saying very stupid thing) reads this months MBUK, you will see details of the event in there, somewhere around the middle. did i mention there will be some familiar faces at the comp?
