I don't kno much/anything about guitar strings, especially acoustic, but D'Addarios have always been recommended by both classical and acoustic guitarists. Having said that, on your first 'tar, you could have any strings, so long as they are new and you'd feel an improvement. Your local music shop will be able to offer you more help and alternatives.

I would only say one thing about an argos guitar, re-string it, ASAP. Most of the time, strings get f**ked in storage. And it's a good time to look at basic stuff which you will need to do like re-stringing. Boris, I think the guitar you look for is in fact not a Gibson, but an Epiphone, I don't think Zakk Wylde's custom series are available as Gibson, but replicas are made by Epiphone.

I have never had an issue with CrystalXP. StyleXP is also recommended, but you have to pay for it unless you can be bothered to find the crack.

If it's under a shed you could building foam it all up except for a small hole, and attach a hose pump them out, but due to regulations, hoses are out of the question, so just building foam it all up.

Ewido is pretty good, dead easy to find a crack for aswell... I found it much better than Ad-Aware for both speed of scans and amount found.

I've had a graphics tablet for a few years now, love it's compatability with Photoshop. I have a Wacom Graphire, which is probably worth about £40 but dead worth it. Even if you don't want to use it, it's great fun on MSN convos where everyoen is handwriting. I probably would strugle using brush tools on PS with a mouse now...

Love the Natural History Museum, it's awesome, probably worth making a day out of that and the Science Museum alone though.

USB isnt really faster than Firewire, because its speed fluctuates from about 100kbs to 480kbs, tending towards the slower speeds, and Firewaire is pretty much a constant 400kbs. Having said that, USB 2 is fine, really. I've not used that particular drive, I went for a LaCie but I don't really think you can go wrong with most drives like that. Other Option is to buy a high quality HDD and spend ~£10 on an external case, which will wourk just thae same, and you can easily mount the drive inside a PC if you should so wish later on.
