That could be your problem, EA haven't really got the hang of supporting nVidea, such as on CS:S you can't run HDR and AA at the same time with nVidea, but you can with ATi's equivelent (excluding the 8800GT's). Maybe there's a similar problem here? Because my X800 pro is fairly happy with it.

Are you using nVidea?

I plan to do Architecture this september, and I do Maths, Physics, Photography and Design Tech. But seriously, Maths and Phyics are un-necessary, if they arn't your best subjects, then you'll do better to choose something you are better at. I struggled with maths, but I took it because I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to do architecture or civil engineering at university. Maths and Physics are arguably the strongest composition of A-Levels, and will allways look good on any CV or job application. Definately take an ART subject, most unis will look for this, and be prepared to build a portfolio of work to show them, if you get a uni interview, they will most likely ask for one. Specifically, Kingston University have asked for the following; Which a pretty fair brief, but a defiante challenge to decide what you want to put in it, to sell yourself. But really, start talking to your art teacher as soon as you start As, they will know what it takes to produce a portfolio, as such can offer guidance. I have 3 offers so far, Plymouth, for 320 points. Portsmouth, for 300 points, and Kent, for 280 points. P.S. George, Graphic Design and Product Design are very different. One is an art, the other is a Design Tech. One you get told to draw a page of scribbles, the other, you make something worthwhile.

That's where I got it from, took an age... Mine is on full, except shadows, as you can see, which are on lowest, because I'm not fussed about them.

Yeah, but, you can only play 1 mission of GDI, the tutorial, and you can only do skirmishes as GDI against NOD, at varying degrees of difficulty, without the playstyle options, on one map. So basically, you don't even see the Scrin, and the only way you can play as NOD, is a very fast Engineer Rush. Takes up 2.7Gb on your HDD aswell, makes you wonder what it's full of...

Well, it's a high spec game, and my system is pretty old now, and that is very zoomed in, looks much better whilst playing. Tell the truth, it's pleasing enough to look at when playing, because it's an RTS. Had it been an FPS, then I would agree, graphics arn't special, but it's not the same, IMO. And Partz, apparently not...

Had it a week, played it loads, pre-ordered it, can't wait. If any one else gets it, I will play them. + Check this for an army... P.S. Made to many posts all at once, must stop...

Well, ok, I exagurated there, it was the Dell's that burst into flames but meh, it's as close as makes no difference.

It was a load of batteries made by Sony. As yours is not a battery by Sony, it's less likely, however there iss till a chanvce, but I've not heard about Packard Bell's bursting into flames...

It's not strictly as firewall, but PeerGuardian 2 is very good for seeing what is going on with your computer in tersm of ins and outs, as such it can block any un-wanted visitors.

Worth pointing out your D50 shouldn't experience too much noise before ISO 600, so don't be afraid to bump it up. And with your f/1.8 lens you shouldn't have a problem with the speed of your lens!

I managed the equivilent of a flair, I'd say, so a full flip with a 360, I know that's not quite a flair, but effectively, as the pancake leaves the dish you flick your wrist so it spins 360. Generally stick to the standard 180, however.

Only two for me. With chicken, Ragu, Sweetcorn and peppers. Was lush. Went out before I had time to cook more for pudding!

By start up, do you mean the boot screen, where it shows Windows XP with a green or blue loading bar, if so, yes there is, but it is very sketchy and IMO, not really worth it, because you only see it for a minute anyway. Style XP will do this for you, but if it goes wrong, you'll have to rebuild your PC. If you eman Log In screen, then programs like Style XP will beble to change them without a problem.

Well, got 11 GCSEs grades A-C, currently doing A-levels in Maths, Physics, Design Technology: Resistant Materials and Photography. I have applied for 6 unis in a course of Architecture, something I have always really wanted to do, and it's something I'm sure I'd enjoy and be good at. So I have two offers and two interviews, alongside one rejection so far, and one uni I have yeat to hear from. So everything is ace, except this year, I have basically thrown it all down the toilet. And it's all down to one thing really. At the end on As, I quit photography, missing out on 4 weeks worth of work, which was really important, and instead, I took up Graphic Arts, jsut becuase I enjoy it. However, the workload was a real problem and my teacher didn't know really how to encourage me. So what I had to do was move back onto the photograph course, and salvage what I could. So I did no work for about 10 weeks. That was the first mistake, then I did no work for 6 more and now we are here. I, currently am supposed to have handed in one 2000 word essay and a ~15 week photography project, which I basically have done nothing of. I'm currently doing my exam piee, which I have doen nothing of and generally, despite the fact I got an A at As, I'd probably be lucky toget a C this year unless I really sort it all out. So I have to do that. Then there are a few small things in my tech project which I have to do, and a 2000-4000 word physis essay to do. Maths, my weakest subject, I am struggling with, so I really am looking at maybe a D overall for that. If I do that, get about 320 UCAS points, then I can go to uni, and everything is happy.

I have always liked the idea of being dissolved into a pool of acid, so they could use the remainging sludge to create mutant clones.

For real, after all 101. is One Hundered And One.

Don't get one of your mates to kneel down behind another good friend, walk up to them and shove them over. They may well fall, break and dislocate thier arm. It won't be as funny as you thought.
