Siders plays BF2. I used to play 2142, but I got bored, no planes, no care. It's a good game, I just find it too slow and normally laggy. Stalker? Man I hate that game, I so nearly bought it too. I played for an age (got nowhere), they released the patch, and I was back at the begining. It's supposed to be about stealth, but how you can you be stealthy when for the first half the game you ahave to run around with an AK. Useless, and not thought out game...

I don't think it's the age, I think it's the shine, stickers, and roof bars, which stop it from working. I've seen a few ratted Mk4s which look great. All be it, without the rust bonnets.

I have a problem with people swearing at me, if I've done something wrong/bad/etc, because IMO that make the person no better than me. I don't have a problem being called a twat/retard/etc by someone if it's a joke and I know the person saying it, even if I knew it was a joke, from someone I wasn't familiar with, I'd be pretty offended. Well I say offended, I'd be annoyed they'd just come out with it, directed at someone they don't really know much about. I'd be equally annoyed if I saw someone calling one of my mates a twat/retard/etc, if they didn't really know my friend. I don't mind people swearing at themselves, so long as they keep it to themselves, not just proclaim "f**k!" in the middle of Tesco Express or something, that makes me think it's just to show off. Nor do I do I mind it for use to create emphasis on web forums, because past italics, there's no way else, in my opinion, to show exactly how annoyed you are. Never be suprised when some-one is offended by something, jsut because you arn't, there's no reson why they wouldn't be.

Only reason to play 1.6 is for competitions. That's why no pros play source. CSS has major problems with lag, and how the server makes up for this lag, known as interpolation, between the hit boxes, and the character model. See here for a demonstration. On public servers, it's really just a case of knowing when/where to shoot. I used to play 1.6, allthough no-where enar as much as Source, and I can't say I'm keen to go back to it.
