Clio only bloody passed it's MOT didn't it?! 4 advisories on a 11 year old french shitbox, I'll take that. And given 2 of the advisories were front tyres approaching legal limit I ain't even mad.

I've kind of put it out of my mind, I'm not doing anything til end of Jan/Feb anyway. I'm fairly sure fixed seats are a fail in an MOT, unless you can prove it's a purpose built track car in which instance it's the MOT testers discretion? When I eventually get a cage, I'll used fixed mounts along with harnesses. Til then, buckets, inertia reel belts and sliders are perfect for hooning about, and don't ruin my suits.

No link, just blind faith. Basically you take the shifter from a 1999-2003 Scenic and put it in your Clio. It's a longer stick, but also a raised pivot, so the though ratio/distance is very similar to standard. Here's a pic which compares them. I also have 'stiff shift' kit made by a guy called Yanoo on CS, which can be built into the Clio/Scenic shifter which tightens up the linkage. It's a really nice piece of kit. See here. Here's one fitted.
