Police are bad enough as it is in London when there is two of you. I know everyone is making a big effort to turn up but with nearly 100 riders, we're gonna get all the wrong attention, cause trouble and cctv will be watching us like a hawk. You're not gonna be able to ride much either as everyone takes turns. Good luck is all i have to say. i might change my mind but then i wont ride with everyone..... too busy Peace

Contact your local bike shop.. they will have come across problems like this before and should be able to help (at a small price). My SKF cracked on the drive side but luckily i was able to use the existing part to unscrew the bb. You can always phone Tartybikes Technical line (01772 323355) as i'm sure Adam will have some ideas and also perhaps carry out the labour required to remove the broken bb (again at a cost for his knowledge and skills) Ask people with experience first, don't try and bodge it out as you will most likely cause damage to the threads and then have to pay even more to get them cleaned and tapped out. They are a competition use bike and are pretty strong. Monty do offer a 2 year warranty with it though which is miles better than others. Contact your local distributor for full details and assistance. Rob

That statement is completely false. The only difference between the two is the shell. The newer models have an extra flange on the drive side to increase strength. Other than that, all the internals are the same. Another PLONKER! (Wham!)

If you check the video again you'll see that you gapped further away from where you measured and that you didn't measure from curb to curb properly and that you didn't measure across straight. You did it at an angle making the cap bigger than it is! Fair play, it was big. But don't push it with cheating! Someone hand him a TF tape measure.
