  1. One small idea to put your way Dang... I live in Tonbridge, Kent (South-East) I'm personally not fussed what order the frame gets sent out in, i'm happy to be part of your project. Would it be sensible to post the frame in a distance related order so that it doesn't have to be sent up and down the country? Riders might be able to pass the frame on at group rides or the other reason would be that postage would be less if the riders were all close to each other. Just a thought, i'll let you decide. Regards, Rob Larkins
  2. Sure you don't wanna ride on Sunday instead? I probably wont have my wheel re built till Sunday.
  3. Shhhh! It's a secret! The government will lock you up if we tell you
  4. They did turn out well in the end. Was fun riding with you.... till next time Jacko Rob
  5. As far as i am aware Nick, It's against the law for Dan to keep certain details (such as credit card numbers) and then just ring them through without permission (even if you had arranged to pay). He is running a business and all transactions must be dealt with in a proper way. Have you received a receipt for this transaction? You could probably claim the money back because as far as i am aware, what he has done is theft. Speak to your bank about the matter too. Doesn't matter about what you agreed or took from him, he can't do that even if you were once friends. Business laws are funny things so i suggest speaking to Citizens Advice Bureau. Dan might be learning a hard lesson soon which ideally, no company wants to face.
  6. I think i might make a call into citizens advice bureau tomorrow and see where people stand with this and whether or not Trials-uk need to be reported and investigated. Dan is a seriously playing too close to a line of misconduct and unreasonable practice. Will keep peeps informed.
  7. Sounds like a pretty sound decision to me. Who will vouch for me ay lol. Not sure on the mod spacing as i don't ride one. Probably best sending Adam at Tarty an email to discus some options with him. He sells too many bikes/frames so should have a better understanding of what the public want then just a rider calling out a spec that they want to test. Rob
  8. As Dang said.... read a couple of posts up and you will see the geo.
  9. oh my god.... that kid is sooo fat and old x
  10. Check this out... Robbie Maddison on New Year Wow..... Click me
  11. I have swim teaching qualifications!!!!!!!! Who wants to touch me?
  12. Thanks for clarifying that. Any chance that the frame you send to the UK has an all in one dropout? Happy new year to you too. Rob
  13. Hello Dang. I like concept behind your rear disc mount but personally not to sure on the idea still. Having a completely cnc'd dropout that incorporates the disc mount in my opinion would be a lot stronger and stiffer. If a bolt was to work itself loose, i can imagine the adapter writhing against the frame and flaring the area where it will attach. This is the same reason why i don't use an avid brake on the rear of my bike. You have to run an adapter which allows for more stress points and areas for flex. I will always use a Hope or similar mounting caliper. I look forward to receiving this frame and putting it through some rigorous testing for you. If would like any more input or ideas, please message me. Other than that, i have checked out the blogs on your site. The frame looks great. A Comfortable geo and size. I can't wait. Regards, Rob Larkins
  14. Fit... just like you Andy x x
  15. So when is this ride again? I'd love to come to Pompey. Rob
  16. Can i be first to say that you're a knob for throwing your bike. It's not the bikes fault you're shit is it! HAha And damaging it further probably won't help. Boring vid......... Put a full length vid together instead of small clips.
  17. Blame Welshy for the picture quality.... I just do the riding
  18. Big thanks first to the boys at Tartybikes.co.uk Quality service, good advice, fast delivery (even though it was ordered especially for moi) So far so good. Still getting used to the geo of the frame. Is a little different to the Simtra but i'm adapting fast. Street is fun on this bike but you definetly notice the difference when riding natural. Enjoy (i am) PS... Thanks goes to Fat Ponce for the picys
  19. Don't know if this is a repost but looks like some raw fotage of Vincent just training and playing about on a setup. Enjoy, Rob Vincent Training
  20. Ok Peter, Crazy thoughts running through my head.... I'm gonna see if i can get the week off work and have a road trip! I live in Tonbridge, Kent. That's a 50 minute train drive from London, Waterloo and a 35-40 min drive from Hooks Wood. Then i can hire a big car for the week and we can road trip around to Portsmouth to see people like Richard Pearce, Knt for some natural spots, Swindon and Reading to ride with the masters Proter, Bessel and Goddard and then perhaps even trip to Bristol to see Rowan Johns. I'm getting excited just writing this.... As i said earlier, i'm gonna have to check with work to see if i can get the week off work but other wise, Hooks Wood should not be an issue as will be going to that anyway so you're more than welcome to stay a mone and i'll just nick a car for the day. Will contact you tomorrow vai PM with an update and to see if you're intersted in the idea. Bye for now, Rob Larkins
