The semi-mx & the indicator are both really good helmets in my opinion I currently ride with an indicator that i got from CRC, and i love it I'd go for the indicator It's not comfortable as stock, But they include some nice blue pads that you can put inside, Work really well, and feel good too

Differ as much as you like mate But most people who run vee brakes will tell you that a superb set-up is much easier to get than a magura set up well

I would say run a FFW set-up, I believe they tend to be more reliabe, Although I don't have a problem with freewheel on the rear
